Fox moved into the 9-10 p.m. winner’s circle with Hell’s Kitchen at a solid 9.41 million viewers and a 4.4/12 among adults 18-49.

Impressive. While The Moment of Truth was... not. Short life span for that show.

This is my main problem with marathons and double runs (of the same cycle; different cycles isn't as bad).
I will restate that I think this should only be for Summer repeats, not first run originals.

TV Viewing habbits are changing and this would be one way to keep up with those changes, and still produce decent ratings.

"Get Smart" - Yes, it looks like it will be a fun movie.

"Sex & the City" - a BIG NO
Didn't like the show when it was on HBO. It will be interesting to see how well a Premium Pay Channel series will do with a mianstream movie.

And how pointless and annoying it is?

It just occurred to me that the sex scenes will probably be substantially LESS explicit than on the TV show. Which may be a first.

I am a huge fan of the original series--which makes me less likely to go see the movie. I heard about the casting, and thought "Maybe", then saw the promos and thought "Hell no."

Sorry about that.

I'm more excited about the X-Files movie.

Because I really really want it to bomb.

I figure Jim Belushi must have some good dirt on somebody important at ABC.

On an unrelated note, Fox continues to get the most bang for its buck with Hell's Kitchen, which has to be the biggest bargain on tv. I think the buffer between its new cycle and the last cycle of Kitchen Nightmares is a good idea. I can see Hell's Kitchen still drawing seven to eight million viewers each week three years from now.

I am not a fan of the show, but Moment Of Truth it is beyond the "Short Life Span" life cycle.

Getting a 2nd season 5 months after its premiere does show it can be around for a while.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall did a fantastic job of transitioning the CSI franchise to the big screen. Bell can't act a lick, but maybe that is why she was given the role of a CSI actress.

Neither of these will bomb as bad as the Speed Racer transition.
Get Smart looks horrible. Steve Carell is starting to look like a one note actor. This film will open big, though.
I liked Sex & The City, but really, who cares about 'seeing how it ends'? Seems like a niche market film.

Definitely Get Smart! I think the casting on that looks pretty perfect. Was I correct to see that the Rock is in it as well?

Moment of Truth's demo numbers are really good for a summer show. The viewership numbers are just above average, but maybe it will perk up when people get used to its new timeslot. Hell's Kitchen did very well for FOX.

That's because Hell's Kitchen is one funny show. I never stop laughing when Ramsey talks. Plus this year, they have Matt, who can't cook for his life really. One of my favorite reality shows! Smiler

you are completely right. Gordon Ramsey is a F*@king great TV personality. The rest are just F*@king Donkeys.

And how in the workd MATT got on this show is a complete mystery to me. But, this whole group would never be confused with the REAL CHEFS of TOP CHEF.

I just started watching the BBC version of Kitchen Nightmares, so I cant wait to watch the US Version later this summer.
