Perhaps they'll just revamp Moonlight into a comedy. The possibilities with this new direction will be endless.

True. Perhaps Amazing Race will be tapped as the lead in. The Unit is really starting to look like a goner in my book. Moonlight may escape this season but unless it really picks up, next year is its last too. I'm hopeful for comedies to fill 8pm Wed. and maybe we'll see either CSI:NY or WAT move to Sundays and fill the hour there.

Gena Davis is a wonderful tap for the project. Why not relocate it a bit and call it CSI: Queens.
Oh goodie! Next year they can add CSI: The Bronx and then CSI: New Jersey and then CSI: Des Moines! Oh I'd really love to see that last one.
I have said this before, but I think they should do CSI: Hawaii. The detectives could be based on the beach and wear bathing suits and bikins. It would be sort of mix of CSI and Baywatch. Now that would pull in a nice 18-49 rating! That might even work on a Saturday night!

Actually, I could see them putting this on Sundays to go with Cold Case.
CIC was one of the worst shows i've ever tried to watch
The middle 10 episodes were bad. The beginning and ending episodes were great. I'm assuming you saw the middle episodes unless you have some reason for hating what was a really great concept, just not a very well executed plan. CiC is a great example of what happens when chimps are in charge of your network.
I would have to agree that the downfall of Commander in Chief, from most-watched new show to getting cancelled in the span of a few months was the most blatant example of ABC execs tinkering too much with a show. They fired its creator and director because he would occasionally turn in shows late, and the result was the show lost its vision and direction: the shows were on time, but weren't nearly as good. Then they moved it, then burned it off in the summer. Quite a downfall for a show that premiered with over 16 million viewers in a timeslot (Tuesdays @ 9pm) that would have made a perfect companion for the DWTS: Results show -- a very similar demographic.

They could try revamping Viva Laughlin as a comedy too.

Oh stop it x. I already have enought time catching up on Friday nights before the parties begin. Now I'll have to add this... Must you keep doing this to me! I'm already half sloshed by the time I get to Thursdays Greys eps. Hmm, come to think of it, perhaps that's why Meredith and walking suicide Izzie have been so tolerable this year.

tvratingsjunkie, I would suggest next time to submit your PIFC roster entry a bit earlier, however, because you posted your complaint before the Game 69 deadline, I'll allow your roster to be entered.
Just go to the PIFC entry page now (link below) and make your roster from now until tomorrow morning (this is only for tvratingsjunkie).

While I'm sure they'd be pleased with the overall viewers it would bring in, the last thing they want is another retirement home skewing hour. The best move on Sunday would be to move Cold Case up an hour behind 60 Minutes and bring WAT or CSI:NY to fill the 9pm hour and hopefully bring some life back to Shark, which is by far one of the best dramas on CBS.

Perhaps, but the fact is the show's primary attraction was its novelty factor, which wore off quickly. Like Jericho, and many another drama that hits big right out of the gate, then loses steam, CIC just didn't have a second wind. There wasn't enough of a cast, enough of a concept, enough of a reason for the show to exist.
West Wing wasn't a huge hit for most of its run, but it had something to fall back on--great casting, good writing, and a LOT of characters that mattered to people--as opposed to just one.
CIC would have tanked before long, whether CBS tinkered or not--and if they hadn't, the show would have been behind schedule, and when the ratings fell, they'd hear that they let the momentum slip away by coddling a showrunner who wasn't ready for primetime. They were screwed either way.
According to The Futon Critic, Miss/Guided didn't start until 10:32, so this includes 2 minutes of overrun (I hate ABC's tendency to schedule like that..).
How much do you think it will drop for the finals?
