CBS should have just picked up Commander in Chief last year.

Yes, I read about that. Exit 19 is only a working title. CBS is in talks to name the show CSI: Long Island.

That's just as good for me. Smiler

Gena Davis is a wonderful tap for the project. Why not relocate it a bit and call it CSI: Queens.

ABC Takes Second on Tuesday to Fox in Viewers and Young Adults, Marking its Strongest Performance on the Night Since November

Growing from its Most Recent Airing, "It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown" Produces ABC's Top Non-Sports Numbers in the Time Period Since December

"DWTS" Generates ABC's Strongest Time Period Performance in 4 Months

In viewers and young adults, ABC posted its strongest Tuesday since November since 11/27/07.

ABC's special airing of "It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown" delivered ABC's top non-sports numbers in the time period since December among Total Viewers (6.3 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.9/5) since 12/18/07.

"DWTS" produced ABC's top viewer and young adult numbers in the time slot in 4 months since 11/27/07.

Gotta love spin. ABC has been running shows since December getting 4-5 million viewers and horrible demos, yet they crow about how last night was their best Tuesday since December. Is that really saying much?

How often does a show win in the A18-34 AND the A25-54 without winning the A18-49?

I guess since all of CBS's novel ideas failed this season, they are going back to the tried and true, crime procedurals, next season. Oh yes! Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I guess that a lot 50-54 year olds were watching.

You mean now that their attempts to glom off what the other networks are doing have failed, it's back to trying to copy their own past successes.

And probably failing in that as well.

Perhaps this will be the one that works for her. I smell Fridays 9pm for this after Moonlight gets cancelled this spring along with the Unit.

Oh goodie! Next year they can add CSI: The Bronx and then CSI: New Jersey and then CSI: Des Moines! Oh I'd really love to see that last one. Wink

The middle 10 episodes were bad. The beginning and ending episodes were great. I'm assuming you saw the middle episodes unless you have some reason for hating what was a really great concept, just not a very well executed plan. CiC is a great example of what happens when chimps are in charge of your network.

If people would just agree with me already, there wouldn't be any wrong opinions.

True. Perhaps Amazing Race will be tapped as the lead in. The Unit is really starting to look like a goner in my book. Moonlight may escape this season but unless it really picks up, next year is its last too. I'm hopeful for comedies to fill 8pm Wed. and maybe we'll see either CSI:NY or WAT move to Sundays and fill the hour there.
