Remember 1985-92 action adventure MacGyver? What was the lead character’s first name?

a) Angus
b) Cosmo
c) Duke
d) Lance
e) Solomon

Is: a) Angus. Richard Dean Anderson played Cosmo MacGyver.

It's Angus. Cosmo was Kramer's first name on Seinfeld. I'm surprised I know both of those useless bits of trivia...

Must have. I'm 100% sure on both of those.

Michael Ausiello is a big fan of the show. He must have clout with them. -Smiler

Good news for NA.

Good news for Canterbury's Law, especially if it can build a bit on that steady 1.7 A18-49 on the less competitive Friday landscape.

Also, a glimmer of bright news from the Hollywood Reporter this morning, which finds the sweet and gentle Men in Trees, while in trouble on the bubble, still has a few diehards like me at the Alphabet looking out for its future. (I missed the opening minutes last night...however did young Patrick land his helium-balloon-suspended lawn chair?)

Now for the trifecta...What does the J. stand for in Homer J. Simpson?

I see. So, Jericho would be 'popular' in an imaginary world where millions of people were willing to pay to stream it over the internet However, since that world doesn't actually exist, you were just speculating that people would be more willing ot pay for less popular shows.

I know Jericho is not as popular as American Idol. But Jericho at the theaters would kill American Idol. Do you understand now?
I understand that Jericho would be a box office bomb if it were in the theater.

How about next time you actually read the original post? What was your point in responding in the first place? Apparently, you didn't even understand that one little paragraph I wrote.

Dumont, consider Canterbury's Law canceled. Scrap the sets now and save some time. Your ringing endorsement of it was to blame.

The same can be said for the "sweet and gentle" Men In Trees, which apparently has dumont, Marc, and Ausiello among its fans... Big Grin

If nothing else, it is great counterprogramming for the CBS basketball marathon and keeps the timeslot warm for ABC's female skew.

Speaking of ABC's female skew, according to this Hollywood Reporter Article, ABC was unsuccessful in convincing Lifetime network to take over October Road or Men in Trees.

Thanks for sharing, too bad about Lifetime not picking up October Road. I still hope that they CW might still give it a shot next fall, at this point what do they have to loss.

I wish we could get a wrap up of some sort for October Road, even if it was only on the DVD. The show really improved towards the end of this season again. The best decision would've been to simply air it away from old skewing Dance War and the deadly, but still funny imo, Notes from the Underbelly. OR would've fit better Wed. at 10 imo than the pathetic Cashmere Mafia and Men in Trees would've fit better on Mondays with the quirky comedies.
