Oh, i'm sure he will, haha. Total viewers were up 30% in the 9pm hour alone, and 40% for the whole broadcast. Respectively, demo was up 32% and 42%. Not bad at all.
I thought when he talks about "the biggest thing on television" he was talking about his toupee... that, or his ego -- I forget which...
lol nice. Seriously, i'm wondering if he'll EVER change hairdos. Probably not.
He won't change his hair style because in his mind he can still marry a new supermodel every 5 years regardless of the mop on his head.

At a minimum they should treat it like PD and DSM and relaunch it in the Fall -- as I've mentioned before, they could do the following schedule on Tuesday nights: 8:00 DWTS: Results 9:00 Samantha Who? 9:30 Miss/Guided 10:00 BL or WMC This way, SW still gets the DWTS lead-in it had on Mondays, Miss/Guided gets a compatible SW lead-in, and they avoid competing with either CBS's Monday comedies or NBC's Thursday comedies...

I'd settle for just one supermodel and keep my own hair!

Capping off the evening was CW duo Smallville (Viewers: #5, 3.84 million; A18-49: #5, 1.5/ 5) and the recently relocated Reaper (Viewers: #5, 2.76 million; A18-49: #5, 1.2/ 2), which is not an improvement from recent occupant Supernatural.

The CW's average viewers is just maintaining! Didn't go up, didn't go down!

I like that schedule. But they wouldnt be hurt by a move to Thursday's by the NBC comedies. It would be CSI and Without a Trace.

I think they did that because of a lack of original and/or successful programming.

Renewing this low rated fodder is only going to help continue ABC's comedy problem along with Jim and the potentially soon to transplant Scubs. If they insist of renewing all of these, I'd say Saturdays 8 to 10 will be a good timeslot.

ABC should pass on Jim, and yes, even Scrubs. Only SW? and possibly M/G deserve renewals. Scrubs doesn't work after The Office, losing... i can't remember... more than 30% of the demo? Even if 100% of viewers switched networks next year, Scrubs is not doing well. Yes, ABC's sitcom situation is definately not good.

Miss/Guided is doing better than I thought it would considering its "burn-off" scheduling, so I can see it getting renewed. Given their recent lack of success with comedies and the fact that M/G has found favor with a number of critics, they could do a lot worse (like renewing Cavemen and Carpoolers).

ABC clearly hasn't learned anything from the past 3 seasons or so. I expect a strong fall with Mondays collapsing midseason once again along with Tuesdays thanks to the loss of Dancing.

The key will be to move Private Practice to Mondays at 10pm so they can have some stability year-round, and not completely collapse and have 3 whole hours to replace whenever DWTS is not on the air.

I can about guarantee you that's not going to happen. I bet PP stays on Wed. at 9 with Pushing Daisies as a lead in and I think Brothers and Sisters will be the moving show to Wed. at 10. DSM to either Monday at 10 or Thursday at 10 with Sundays also seeing a new drama. I see two new comedies Tuesday at 8 or 9 and who knows what will happen with Tuesday 10pm or Friday 8 to 10pm. The Bachelor could still be in there somewhere but I'm guessing that's held for midseason this time around. According to Jim, Scubs, and the Wife Swap-Supernanny combo are held most likely for midseason.

Talking about ABC, multiple sources are saying Cashmere Mafia is cancelled. So there is an open hour slot.
