If you don't find that funny then there is something wrong with you.
I watched that clip, and didnt think it was funny at all. It was more on the annoying side.

Honestly, watch what you like. Couldn't stop you, wouldn't try.
But I'd never tell someone who didn't like The Office that this means they only like one kind of thing, done one kind of way.
I think you're going to have to acknowledge that there are many millions of people in this country who are capable of enjoying a show that is different, takes chances, breaks the mold a bit--people who get into shows like Seinfeld, The Sopranos, The Office.
30 Rock just isn't on that level--or it would reach those people. Lord knows, it's been given plenty of chances to. And it'll be given a whole other season to. And when it fails, again, hopefully NBC will just cancel it. Hell, I think most shows I LOVE would be better off being canceled early, before they deteriorate. Sounds like 30 Rock is already deteriorating. Not that most people could ever tell the difference.
I just find it a bit disturbing that you're ready to consign me to the 7th Circle of Hell (for those who are guilty of violence against art) because I don't like a flop sitcom on NBC.
I'm pretty damn sure that's not what Dante had in mind.

I guess there's something terribly wrong with both of us.
Though there IS an alternate explanation, if Russ could only perceive it.

Jamie--- I agree. I LOVE the Office and have watched every episode on DVD about 10 times. But, last night's episode was disappointing to me.
For me the best show of the night was Eli Stone. But only because I expect more from the Office.

Time to cut back to once a year unless it gets a night change. At this rate, Ugly Betty will be competing in the demo in the coming weeks.

This round of Survivor has really taken a downhill slide compared to even the recent China eps. What the heck happened?? Virtually no competition, and it can't even maintain it's pre-strike numbers? It's already lost a full 1.0 in the demo since the premiere. That's just BAD.
Obviously the franchise is slowly fading, but what show doesn't after 8 years? Any guesses as to what the demo average for DWTS will be in its 16th edition? It is still been a pretty amazing run when you consider all the "experts" online who were predicting that the show would soon end after Survivor Africa was off a little in the ratings. Besides, if the recent pattern holds the Fall edition will rebound slightly to say maybe a 4.2, 13 million average, which is still worthy of continuation.
CANTERBURY'S LAW - just not seeing very much show here.
I was very open to it, like JM, but I don't find it entertaining. At first I thought it was just a weak supporting cast, but I think the idea of this thing was just a misfire.

Love TV? Love Games? The PI Feedback Challenge brings the two together.
Each Week is a different game and each game lasts 4 weeks. All you do is pick FIVE (5) shows, one from each network while using only ONE of the following 4 methods of picking your roster of 5 shows. Just try to pick the shows that'll rank the highest in each of the next 4 weeks.
To tie the games together, we set up the PIFC Cup. Similar to the NASCAR Nextel Cup, you earn points from each game over a "season". There are 3 seasons each year. We are currently playing the 2008 Winter Spring Cup.
Come join us and play the 73rd game of the PIFC. Just click the logo or CLICK HERE to start playing.

Not saying the franchise isn't worthy of praise, but like all programs, there comes a point when a show needs a break and continuing to air it twice a year is only going to keep the declines going. If CBS wants to win Thursdays in the demo next fall, they're going to need some fresh blood on Thursdays. Unfortunately, there are no shows they could just transplant at this point and have a guaranteed 5.0 plus demo needed to give the night back to them.
