Well, if A.P. had not packed it in at the end of the season, eho knows.... Perhaps the Vikes are playin in January?? BTW, How many superbowls has Minnesota WON???? Manning vs Manning in 2009
Thanks for rubbing it in. As for AP, it wasn't his fault the receivers can't catch and the QB can't throw, meaning 10 in the box all the time. It also doesn't help when its basically the same play ran over and over again the whole game. There's always next year.

The Aptriots DID make history last night... The BIGGEST CHOKE in NFL History.
I really don't think it was the biggest choke in NFL history. The Giants have been red hot. Brady's injuries hurt their offensive momentum. Eli didn't cough it up. The Pats have been extremely lucky in some games this year. I think it all added up in the end. There was no one play that defined choke to me like lets say, missing your first field goal all season long. I know how that feels.

True, the NYG Defense was great last night, but Brady's Injury was a BIG factor too. He had a bout a dozen passes that were WAY OFF, even without pressure.
I don't know. There just wasn't any major play that the NY Offense made imo. Wide open touchdown pass to end the game. I just wasn't all that impressed with Manning although he did face one of the league's best defenses.

Amazing game... so happy for the Giants. The Patriots simply played terribly, and they didn't deserve the win.

Then the same can be said about Brady. Moss' TD was wide open because the NYG defender fell. Atleast Burris made a great move on his defender to get the NYG Touchdown. BTW, E.Manning had 2 TDS. One threaded the Needle to get in.

Not disagreeing about Brady by any means and yes Manning did have 2 TD passes.

I think this was the first time I actually enjoyed the game more than the commericals, but then again, even if they had the greatest commericals ever, I still would have enjoyed the game more. HAHA what a choke!! Loved every minute of it.
How could you NOT like a giant pigeon throwing a car through a window?!

IDT Brady's injury had much to do with it. He was missing because even Marsha Brady gets happy feet when he has been hit the whole game. ESPN said in their post game that unofficially Brady had been hit 18 times in the game. Any QB who ever played, even the great ones like Brady, will lose there rythmn if they get hit that much. Still, he did manage to lead them for the go-ahead TD. Belichick should have kicked the FG when he had the chance. You don't go for it at that point in the game unless you are extemely arrogent ... well?

I am a little surprised I thought it might be bigger - although it still could be. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs07/news/story?id=3229763quote: The game, broadcast on Fox, had a 44.7 rating and 66 share, Nielsen said. That's up from the 42.0 rating and 63 share in metered markets last year. Nielsen did not immediately have an estimate of how many people watched the game.
The metered market average this year was also missing Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston and Dallas due to Nielsen delays.
As for commercials I agree with this part. quote: Meanwhile, a separate survey from TiVo Inc., makers of digital video recorders, found that the E-Trade ad showing a baby talking about stock deals -- and spitting up at the end -- was the most-watched commercial during the game.

Moving away from the super bowl. it was a great game indeed But i just saw this about the strike: This was sent today by WGA Presidents Patric Verrone and Michael Winship to membership: To Our Fellow Members, While fully mindful of the continuing media blackout, we write you to address the rumors and reports that undoubtedly you have been hearing. The facts: we are still in talks and do not yet have a contract. When and if a tentative agreement is reached, the first thing we will do is alert our membership with an e-mail message. Until then, please disregard rumors about either the existence of an agreement or its terms. Until we have reached an agreement with the AMPTP, it is essential that we continue to show our resolve, solidarity, and strength. Picketing will resume on Monday. Our leverage at the bargaining table is directly affected by your commitment to our cause. Please continue to show your support on the line. We are all in this together. Best, Patric M. Verrone President, WGAW Michael Winship President, WGAE Source: United Hollywood I say WTH is this now i thought it was over soon and now i read this.If the WGA doesn't take this deal then i DON'T support the writers anymore. The deal was good enough for the directors but the WGA hesitate anyone else begin to feels hate towards the WGA negotiators if this isn't settled intime for the oscars?

Well i've only supported them for couple of weeks before realizing WGA is absurd. This is just a confirmation for me

Stupid move by FOX to put an already succesful show after the super bowl. They could have used New Amsterdam or something like that.
