Right, what about the other three 1/2-hours? Or the fact that the sitcom TD repeats so poorly? Fox under-performs once again, without AI and House this network would be a complete failure.

You know, as much as the CW promoted Crowned, I would have thought the ratings would have been a lot higher than this. Wow. May be the CW should start to promoted more of their scripted shows (what is left of the new episodes), rather than the reality crap they have decided to air.

Peace!!

Really bad numbers for Pushing Daisies and Crowned. The fact that PD dropped half a million during the hour shows PD might get even worse if the strike ends

But gained in demo.

And you're deluded if you really think PD won't get a second season.

pushing daisies is history, sorry but it is at bionic levels...also, you can't blame a shows dismal performance on it being the only new show of the night...

pushing daisies will last the season (with the writers strike that means its over)

Are viewers of Pushing Daisies not liking the look? The mysteries? The unconsummatble relationship?

so a gain of .1 in the demos means it will make it to season 2? a 2.3-2.4 is horrible...just b/c you are a fan does not mean the show will make it to a 2nd season...by the looks of these numbers I would say it has -0- chance of that.

Bad news for Daisies. I was wondering if there was going to be half-hour tuneout across the board due to what was going down on Deal or No Deal, where there was a guy with three cases left, including the 750K and the million. I had a feeling that half hour would be huge for NBC, and kudos to NBC for throwing some interesting wrenches in the Deal formula this week. But Daisies still should've been a lot better.

Deal hype also seems to have weakened CM a bit, if the build by NY is any indication. But still a pretty strong performance there.

Crowned is not something that they can show three times a week. Its half-hour hold is surprisingly good, but it needed to start off with a lot more.

But you can entirely "blame" the 10m/ 3.7 demo of last episode, two weeks ago, on having a huge lead-in? Roll Eyes

As for the experts really predicting a cancelation for PD (see you in a few months), I would be interested to see how they would program ABC next year. Since they would have to cancel every new show except PP.

Pushing Daisies unsurprisingly continues its drop... Blame whatever you want, but those numbers are not good.

I think a second season for PD (as well as DSM, Moonlight, and any other show getting so-so ratings) will depend more on the strike than the ratings. If the strike lasts long enough to hurt pilot season, some shows may get a second season just because the networks don't have enough new programming.

That strong performance would have been a lot more impressive if not for the huge tune-out. Only 8 million people watched the whole episode.

Wise to already prepare excuses for PD renewal. Big Grin At least, wiser than those who really think it won't come back.

And yet ABC got beaten by FOX in the demo and barely managed to win in Viewers. Now which network is the complete failure?

I would have liked to see Kitchen Nightmares get into the 7 millions, but those are still solid numbers coming off lowly rated repeats as lead-ins. I missed the first 20 minutes of the episode though. Did anyone else see the finale? I'm hoping next season they come to my hometown; I've already seen advertisements by the show's producers.

KID NATION BEATS PUSHING DAISIES!

I know it's not a huge margin but that just warms my heart that it went out with its last episode doing that!

I not a fan of PD...even hearing the promos where the announcer has to adopt a WHIMSICAL voice just really leaves me cold...so this is a good day for this ratings fan.
