Oh, poor Men in Trees. Looks like ABC has raped it beyond repair.
I'm very surprised by Moment of Truth's viewers. It does quite well by itself. The viewership number is pretty good for FOX, as is the demo numbers. Very good numbers! I'm impressed. And saddened. THIS is what pulls in the network's best ratings after AI and House?! Very sad.
SHOW/NET HH A18-49 Viewers A18-34

SOUTH PARK 2.0/3 1.8/5 3,074,000
Sorry for the lack of nationals for Sunday through Tuesday... I actually didn't receive them. Shrug!
Top Chef returned far weaker than I expected. Not enough time between seasons. The last one ended on October 3rd. Love the series, but for its longevity, it needs a break until Summer 2009.
Nothing on earth makes David Caruso look worthy of an Emmy. And CSI:Miami is NO WHERE near DSM in quality. Cast, script, and potential. CSI:M is the third best of a second-rate franchise.

DSM would kill to have the quality and numbers CSI Miami has. The acting on DSM is so bad that it makes David Caruso worthy of an Emmy

Re: ABC's shows, Men In Trees is clearly the weakest link and should be moved back to Fridays. Revised Wednesday lineup should be:
Re: Top Chef -- it should have been launched the same night as the finale of Project Runway, which had record high ratings. Not wait a week later... It's in my DVR but have yet to watch it.

LOL, i just love when CSI haters are jealous of this franchises's success. Second rate, huh? Those second-rate shows are all hits. Sorry about that. If CSI is second-rate i wonder what is hould call DSM or PD, sixth-rate i suppose.

The same guy who runs CBS--Les Moonves.
For all the wailing that I see here about Dawn Ostroff and her poor decision-making and lousy scheduling abilities, the truth is that every decision that gets made at The CW, even down to the level of promotion a show receives, where and how it's promoted, etc., has to be signed off on by none other than Mr. CBS himself.

I'm talking about quality not ratings. PS - not a CSI hater. Just a CSI:M hater. The show sucks. Period.

I'm not so sure about that.
I am. And I'm in a position to know.

There are a million ways to answer your question, robert.
Different economic and business models, different demographic targets, different station lineups, legacy programming, The CW programs only prime time and really only 5 nights and no other dayparts. The two nets aren't the same, even though they're answerable to the same person. Kelly Kahl schedules The CW and CBS and a lot of the back office stuff is combined, as well.
