Probably mid to high 3 million range and a 1.3 or 1.4 18-49. The real question should be what would it be doing on Mondays? In the 2 weeks it aired there it showed growth from week one to two and I have a feeling more fans would've returned. At least then the CW would've had one solid contender on Sunday/Monday nights and the comedies could still be doing poorly on Sunday like they are on Monday.

Its not bad enough that they brought it back from the dead which confused and angered viewers, but then they switched the timeslot a whopping 2 weeks into the season. Needless to say, any momentum at all was killed and Reba only managed to revive it on Sunday for a short period of time. [QUOTE]
Reba and 7H made Sunday nights good. Then the CW killed it.
I wonder how 7H would do if Reba was still around.
OTH could pull around 3 million. It did that earlier against higher rated Idol episodes when B&tG was the lead in.

What's the deal with Gilmore Girls? Obviously, ratings won't be anything to pop open any bubbly about next season, but are they really going to go through with the reduced 13-episode season? I don't see how an 8-year old show with ratings like this can be all that profitable for the struggling network.
It'll all make sense when VM and OTH return next week with stellar numbers in the 2.5-2.8 million range.

Wondering if any of your favorite "on the bubble" shows have a chance at making it onto the networks' schedules in the fall? Check out how one particular journalist sees the chips falling here:
Interesting. Will ABC go into the new year with just Scrubs? Better let the new stuff air out of Dancing.

I feel Roseanne would be a good choice but not a great choice. I think you need an extreme liberal to counter the extreme conservative that Elisabeth Hassleback is. I think a great choice would be Jeanine Garrafolo. She is a mini Rosie. She is funny, biting, sarcastic and intelligent.

Remember when Roseanne had a brief stint as a daytime talk show host? I thought that when it started, it was very interesting but then the show quickly became uninteresting as the season wore on. But Roseanne did show potential and she always has an interesting point of view.
I know you're a solid fan of Mr. Lopez, so this piece of news from "Dateline: Hollywood" is just for you. The entire cast of "The George Lopez Show" has been deported and the show has been cancelled. Details here:

It won't be, but they need to try and keep all their higher-rated shows on a while longer, if possible--that's how they promote their new shows. If nobody is watching CW, nobody is watching CW promos, and they can't afford massive ad blitzes on other networks.
I think they figure that if they do 13 episodes designed to undo all the mistakes of this season, people who want that bad taste washed out of their mouth will come back, just to see how things turn out. I think they're kidding themselves, but I also don't see them as having many better options.
If the only original characters remaining were Kirk, Babette, and Miss Patty, it'd still get better ratings than Veronica Mars.
And if they'd just make Paris the lead and dump those now-irritating G-Girls entirely, I'd actually start watching again.

Extreme Conservative? Oh please, Elisabeth is a weakling compared to Rosie. Ann Coulter is an extreme conservative.
There goes Marc's theory of Sanjaya bringing down the ratings of American Idol. This week's ratings - the first without Sanjaya - are the lowest of the season. You have to admit - Sanjaya brought some entertainment and interest in the show this season. But for Sanjaya to say that Vote for the Worst and Howard Stern had little to do with his stay is ridiculous.
Haha. Funny stuff. Where do they get these people?

This is true... also, this weeks show ("Idol Gives Back") has been so heavily promoted - esp. on the show itself, that I thought we'd see some type of bump up in ratings. Didn't happen...
I agree that The Unit has been an uneven show. Very rarely does a show that spilt a work and home life ever continue that way, one side normally wins out. I think with Shawn Ryan finishing up The Shield CBS should consider moving The Unit to 10 PM (where the competition is significantly less) and let the mission side of the show dominate.
