Both "Smallville" and "Supernatural" didn't air here until after 11:40 p.m. last night because of the Yankees-White Sox game (Sox won, woohoo!), and it was delayed twice by rain.

Sheesh, I used to think The Office wasn't getting much of a bump from all Carell's movies.
But compared to the bump 30 Rock is getting from Fey's latest film, it looks pretty solid by comparison.
Nothing will ever make people like 30 Rock. I watched a bit last night--it's just awful. I don't know what the people praising it to the skies are smoking, but I want some.
Sorry Walter--as unwatchable as Greys has become for me, it still whomped CSI's butt last night. I'm no devotee of the "demo is everything" school of thought, but a tiny lead in total viewers is decisively outweighed by a huge lead in 18-49 viewers.
Very true.
The low ratings for Supernatural certainly makes one thing clear... The supernatural fans will have something to whine about for the next 7 days... until the next set of ratings come in.
Season to season Ugly Betty is not down by much, but the show is already showing age. I think I might be agreeing with pisher on this one. How long can the concept really last?
How good a deal did Hayek finagle with the network?
If you were a network executive, and you were negotiating with Salma Hayek, and she was dressing like she did on Ugly Betty, how do you think you'd do?

I think Tina Fey is just sleeping with everyone in Hollywood in exchange for their endorsement of the show and promise to praise it in every media publication...
I gave it 7 episodes and it just isn't particularly funny. I mean, I guess there's no accounting for taste, but even the attempted satire of the industry has been done better.

Peace!
I also found the reality show concept on which the episode pivots to be rather lame.
Supernatural had nobody but themselves to blame with their horrible camera action. Even Cloverfield had better camera work, and I couldn't stand Cloverfield. The Ghostfacers logos after every single segment and the first ten minutes devoted to characters that I didn't care about, completely turned me off against the episode. The only part that was enjoyable was the last 2 minutes when it reverted back to normal camera action and the preview for next week's episode.

She'd do better if she wore her outfit from "From Dusk Till Dawn"... Yikes!
The Office should end with its fifth season, so the ratings don't concern me much.
Lost has an established endpoint, so its ratings don't concern me much.
Ugly Betty and Greys Anatomy don't appeal to me anymore, so their ratings don't concern me much.
I never liked CSI, and seriously--why should its ratings concern anyone? It'll run for years longer, until everyone is bored to tears with it, and most of the original cast has left.
I want 30 Rock to die a slow painful death next season, so its ratings make me happy.
Lost had 76% retention out of Grey's in both viewers and demo. That is the best retention any show has had out of Grey's right? That is better retention then WAT has out of CSI!
Oh and the CSI & Grey's numbers are absolutely shocking. What is happeneing? Are the viewers not aware that these shows have come back?
