Wow, American Idol really steamrolls everything in its path.

Do you think ABC will try to get Oprah to do more primetime specials instead of Barbara Walters based on these numbers? I wonder if the special would have drawn an even bigger audience earlier in the evening.

Grey's beat American Idol last night. Those are some lows for Idol. Grey's is just getting bigger and more monsterous. Can I say something was anyone tired of Meredith Grey's whiny annoying voice? Her voice drives me up the wall and her pouting.

Wow, Grey's looks like a season high! Seems like their trilogy disaster episode worked. AI dipped lower than I expected but there was too much competition, it seemed to hit Survivor the most.

I'm not sure. I know in the OVERNIGHTS post from early this morning before he left, Marc listed a couple of markets not included. But I don't know

27 million people watched that craptastic episode of Grey's last night? Classic. I saw the last fifteen minutes because it was on in the lobby where I work. I pissed off one of the customers when I started laughing at Denny's lines about how wonderful McDreamy is, that it's a miracle that a man exists who "still believes in true love and magic."

How did Jeffrey Dean Morgan keep a straight face while saying that insipid dialogue? People flock to this show? Unbelievable. Ellen Pompeo can't act. I watched her try to act last night with that breathy little helium voice of hers. I'm sorry. She can't. Denny just hangs around the hospital hoping for a glimpse and a touch of Izzy? That's not romantic. That's tragic. And it's creepy.

Sorry Travis. I know you like the show, but the woman can't act. She makes me want to drown her character in the bay myself. Why is this the main character?

Horrible ER numbers, but I suppose it's increase out of 30 Rock is a good thing.

I loved the ep, and I completely agree that bit of dialogue sucked. New writer onstaff contributed to the ep. Probably her doing.

Why do people keep hiring Marti Noxon to write for TV shows?

Thank you for last week's finals on SPN, Travis. A 1.3 against the Grey's CSI steamroller with all the hype is about as good as could be hoped for last week. Hell, it beat Veronica Mars in 18-49, 18-34 at least. Of course, that doesn't seem to take much these days, does it? Ouch.
