This was the first full episode of DH I've ever watched. Although I was not particularly excited by the episode but the mystery at the end was pretty cool and intriguing.

Oh and I forgot to mention that Nathan Fillion was amazing in it.

-Total Viewers: Fox: 6.04 million, NBC: 4.62, CBS: 4.45, ABC: 4.29
-Adults 18-49: Fox: 1.9 rating/7 share, ABC: 1.6/ 5, NBC: 1.4/ 5, CBS: 1.1/ 4
Perhaps seeing ratings THIS bad will wake up the Networks to start putting some sort of original programming on this night.

With that list of favorites, Heroes may be the ONLY show renewed for another season.
I have other favorites, but they aren't close to the chopping block like the ones I mentioned. I think Prison Break is safe for now, but still it could get shaky. FNL, NBC may stick with it for 4 years regardless.

From what I saw tonight: CW Online--I kind of wonder why I am watching this show. It's just one big product placement/informercial for sponsors. They didn't increase the depth of any of their stories and they had even more product placement plugs then before. It's like a televised infomercial. However, the CW will never cancel or change up this show. They are using it as cheap filler to bring in ad dollars and give out product placement spots. EMHE was fantastic. In fact, it was probably the best episode that they aired. The storyline was engaging and kept your interest. The idea to bring their Hawaiian culture into the renovation was interesting and refreshing. Most shows try to beat you over the head with cultural differences. This just displayed it with no judgements or moral speech. And they brought back their most popular designers and not a one time filler that we never saw again. Definately on it's way for a great season. Desparate Housewives was boring. The storylines just get more and more far fetched. I knew that Dillion wasn't Dillion within first few minues of seeing the girl. The script writting is going downhill fast. I turned Brothers and Sisters off after 20 minutes. Complete waste of time in my opinion.

Out of that lineup, the only one which I am fairly confident will survive past mid-season is 20/20. quote: Originally posted by Obveeus: quote: Originally posted by TV-aholic: Perhaps seeing ratings THIS bad will wake up the Networks to start putting some sort of original programming on this night.

Hahahah. Seriously. But look at it... Private Practice opened "okay", not incredibly strongly, and who knows how many people are going to stick around (since it doesn't seem like anyone liked it). Dirty Sexy Money held a decent amount of that audience and the reception was generally better... but is it lead-in dependent in week two? Without Dancing with the Stars supplying Private Practice with a giant lead-in (of, at least, viewers if not the ad sales demo)... who knows. Really. And that's an entire night, three hours of programming, that we really have no idea what to expect. A night with a big, buzzing new hit at 9pm on a different network. But, in any case, PD is the only series this season with such a huge marketing push and nearly universal critical acclaim. It kind of has no choice but to open big (or flop completely). Not a lot of in-between. Here's hoping for big returns! quote: Originally posted by Obveeus: quote: Originally posted by TravisYanan: Wow, ABC's entire fall season rests squarely on the success/failure of wildcare Pushing Daisies this Wednesday (and, depending on how it premieres, how well it holds up in future weeks).
Note for all of the people involved with Pushing Daisies: No pressure.
