I need to preface this with I have NOTHING against Heroes. Love the show, even though I thought the premiere was too much on setup for the new season vs resolution of last season...
But - since it's the topic of the day - Is Heroes a lock for Top 10 even with the additional numbers?

I believe the weekly numbers will be Sept 24-30th? Meaning right now...

1 - CSI 24.85M
2 - DWTS 21.19M
3 - Grey’s 20.48M
4 - DWTS 18.34M
5 - House 18.13M
6 - Without A Trace 16.73M
7 - DWTS 16.62M
8 - CSI Miami 14.84M
9 - Private Practice 14.24M
10 - Survivor China 14.16M
11 - Heroes 14.12M

Both Sunday Night Football and DH should be Top 6 at nights end moving Heroes to # 13 and that’s if Brothers and Sisters doesn’t have a big night.

Your numbers were off (you weren't using final numbers) so I corrected it.

B&S will be lucky to do 11.5M. The bump for Sat Heroes will be at the very least 2.0M pushing them to 10th if DH and SNF have more than 16.3M (which is very likely). A bump of 2.52M would put them in 8th.

Yes, the top 10 is a lock. All it needs is 1.79M from Sat. Guaranteed.

Pretty good numbers for the repeats of the series premieres. Let's see if that translates into gains for the second episodes. But my guess is a lot of those viewers watched both the premiere and the repeat

NBC is still the loser network, regardless of whether or not Heroes places in the top 10. In fact, by the end of January, Fox will have bypassed them and NBC will be averaging a 2.7 in the demo for the week because Scubs will be pulling down Thursday, Bionic Woman will have crashed and burned, and they'll have a hole on Tuesday at 8 with nothing to replace Biggest Loser. Journeyman will also likely have flopped.

Very true. Only 4 of the 29 prime time shows my wife and/or I watch Sun-Fri are on NBC.

Chuck 9.21+4.63 = 13.84

LAO: SVU 12.12+5.62 = 17.74

Moonlight 8.62+4.65=13.27

Cane 11.21+3.81=15.02

Kville 6.13+1.30=7.43

Reaper 3.28+2.53=5.76

Repeats to come tonight:

ANTM and Gossip Girl.

Note: These are theoretical maximums if there are no duplicate viewers.

Heroes may be the only one that gets the boost, but there have been reports of K-Ville qualifying too.

It is my understanding that only Heroes would qualify under the new rule and only unduplicated viewers would be added in. Anyone who watched the episode on Monday and again Saturday would not be counted.

With only 20.5 hours of programming to be counted, NBC most likely will win the week in demos or end in a tie with ABC pending Sunday night results.

I think there's a distinct possibility that ABC's Sunday night will not be strong enough to save either viewership or demo crowns. NBC's football was incredibly strong last week, while last season Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and Depserate Housewives dropped deeply. While Shark isn't as strong as WAT was at 10pm, it still attracts viewers (as do Cold Case and 60 Minutes).

We could very well see ABC in second place in both categories, depending on the strength of DH and how much B&S can hold this season (might get a little curiosity boost thanks to Sally Field's Emmy win).

Wow, ABC's entire fall season rests squarely on the success/failure of wildcare Pushing Daisies this Wednesday (and, depending on how it premieres, how well it holds up in future weeks).

Note for all of the people involved with Pushing Daisies: No pressure. Wink

Yes, it was pretty good. Dana Delany makes a nice addition.
