Why not order more episodes of Lipstick Jungle, like MNIE for NBC this could be a hit ? This is the network that ordered full seasons for Knight Rider and Kath and Kim.

So what is going to air at 10pm if Crusoe is moving to Saturdays and Lipstick Jungle to 9pm?

I don't know about five years, but as long as MNIE is staying stable and beating UB in the demo, it will stay in its spot. It is one of the few shows NBC doesn't have to worry about.

Because it isn't even pulling 4 million live viewers. There's no way a show pulling those numbers should be on schedule, even for Friday. NBC made a mistake with K&K and KR, they don't have to do it with LJ.

Smart move. It'll do much better than LJ in that spot.

When is the full NBC schedule being announced?

No midseason schedule for ABC today

quote:
I am told there is will no actual mideason schedule release today. Just dates for some stuff. We might get another announcement or two, but I don't think anything more than that. Keep checking back though.

Ultimately, I watch shows for the characters--if I like the characters, the show doesn't have to be that good--if I don't, the show had better be effin' brilliant. I never liked the Winchester Bros. all that much, and SPN has never gotten within 20 parsecs of brilliant--I was counting down all the well-worn cliches in last night's ep--but it was a decently entertaining ride. And, you know, Genevieve Cortese, kicking ass. Nuff said.

You think Genevieve Cortese is a good performer? Big Grin You lost the intellectual high ground there, pisher. Wink

I don't care at all about the God stuff, but it doesn't work badly, I mean if I buy demons in the show, I can buy angels, but I too, watch shows for characters, and I couldn't disagree more with you about liking the brothers. I mean, I'm young but i've seen a lot of tv, old and new, and I can say with certainty i've never seen a more engaging brotherly bond on tv. I guess you haven't seen a lot of episodes but you'd have to be heartless not to feel for them. They're all they have in that depressing life and everything's against them. I mean, when someone is willing to go to hell for other person, it's some deep stuff.

Metal, pisher doesn't really watch anything. He watches just enough to get a talking point here or there and some general familiarity. He only comes here to yank people's chains. He's noticed that there are some fervent SPN fans here, so he's dumping on SPN today. He does the same thing with every other show discussed here. He sees that someone likes it, then he demonstrates why he's too intellectual to enjoy it like the unwashed masses. Cool

If you quit feeding the troll puppy, he'll go away. I found the episode quite smart. Any writer who has the guts to call God out for being an asshole is okay by me. A lot of people think God sucks, plus God didn't conveniently intervene at the 11th hour. I find it refreshing. There are plenty of "non approved" books in the bible that talk about angels being separated from heaven for 70 generations, and that they're a miserable lot. The fallen angel bit tickles me to death. Come on. Anna's last name was Milton. That's excellent.

It's not like I take him seriously, galveston. I like what I like and I don't care what others think, I care only about my enjoyment. It's still fun chatting with him, even if he gets douchebag-ish and rides a high horse. Big Grin

I've only seen about 5 episodes of SN but I see promos from when I DVR Smallville and it always looks good and I think I should have taped that too. The only episode I saw this year was the one where they showed the parents when they were young. It was great, I'm so out of the loop on the show, I had thought the dad was the demon hunter and was surprised that their mom was the hunter.

SV is great this year, but my judgement might be off because I thought last year was bad; it might just be much better than last year.

Does anyone know if Michael Ian Black will be back on Reaper? - the show improved so much when the demons came on it.

That horse of his is so high he gets nose bleeds. He's had this M.O. for a long time. Big Grin

Oh, believe it or not, network standards and practices has supposedly cleared it for Kripke to title eppy #15, the magician's ep, "Criss Angel is a Douchebag." I can't wait to see that title flash across the bottom of the screen. That's such a hoot.

And if you think there's such a thing as the 'intellectual high ground' on a TV ratings forum, you've lost your freakin' MIND. Big Grin

No, sorry, you're wrong. I don't watch shows I HATE, but I watch far too much television. Albeit not as much as you, I'm sure. Wink

Hey, I'm not the one posting at all hours. I actually do watch TV during primetime--and I'm not typing while I'm watching. Razzer

Dumping on it? Is that what you call somebody saying they found a show entertaining?

If you're an SPN fan, you'd better hope that's not what I'm doing. Cool

Right--that's what I was doing when I said I didn't care how 'intellectual' a show is as long as the characters are fun, the actresses are hot, and the sex scenes are plentiful. Big Grin

I wish people wouldn't bombard me with responses every time I post here--it gets very time-consuming. But I'll be here as long as there are shows I want to discuss--postively or otherwise. And Marc has made it known he likes my input. So I think you know what you can do with yours. G'night, loser.

This season has shown marked improvement, IMO. The episode you saw is called "In the Beginning." Very sad episode. Very haunting.

Oh dear, pisher called me a loser. How will my life continue? Guy, yanking people's chains is fun. I do it myself, but the difference is that it isn't the only thing I do. It's the only thing you do here, pisher. That's why it gets old. Oh, I watch about 4 shows regularly. Two of them are off season now. I've had to resort to reading books and going to work. Who'd have thought I could sink so low? Wink

FYI, I used the term "intellectual high ground" sarcastically. Someone as brilliant as you should catch that. Wink Don't you just love litle wink smilies? Wink I love wink smilies. Wink You can never have too many wink smilies in a post. Wink Look, a wink smiley. Wink

Marc correct me if I'm wrong but weren't you saying that ER should have been gone years ago? I haven't watched in over 5 years and trying to watch now that angela bassett is on.

Anyone know what they will put in ER's place next year? I still say move heroes and chuck to thursdays....

Why not pick up the MRC shows from the CW while they're at it for after football is over? I'm sure Valentine and Easy Money would make great pairings with Friday Night Lights.
