I highly doubt those FOX numbers. As much as i dislike SCC i can't see it dipping so low out of the blue. And i highly doubt PB dipped so much after last week's wpisode. And what's with that almost 1 million growth PB had in the last half hour?
Why on Earth is Nielsen still having so few Nielsen families? In much smaller european countries the numbers of muchines used is much bigger
After 26 Days of November Sweep, CBS Can’t Catch ABC Who Have Convincing A18-49 Lead; CBS Must Settle for Most Households & P2+ Viewers
After 26 days of the 2008 November Sweep, ABC reigns supreme in the young adult demographic with a commanding lead in the A18-49 demographic that advertisers and agencies crave and pay premiums for the 30-second spot. ABC now sits atop all the networks with a 3.19 average, with CBS behind in second with a 3.07 average, NBC is in third place with 2.86, and FOX is fourth with 2.60. At the bottom are the mininets starting with Univision at 1.52, The CW at 0.96 and MyNetworkTV in last averaging 0.60. In households and viewers, CBS is first, with ABC second, NBC third, FOX fourth followed by the mininets.
MyNetworkTV and Univision are the only two networks showing any year-over-year improvement. MyNetworkTV is up +37% in A18-49, up 47% in households and up +58% in viewers from last year. Univision is even in households and up 2% in viewers from last year. All other networks are down from last year, with FOX experiencing the worst year-over-year fall-off in A18-49 demo, while The CW is down the most in households and viewers.
Overall for the seven networks, A18-49 demo is down -10% from last year, while households are down -7% and viewers are down -6%.

The data for this and last year are all final Nielsen numbers except for Saturday, Sunday and last night. All Sweep calculations incorporate Nielsen final numbers for primetime programming, Monday to Saturday 8-11 pm, and Sunday 7-11 pm. For daytime over-runs into primetime and primetime run-pasts into latenight (e.g. sports coverage, award shows), only the primetime portion of the program numbers have been factored in. For networks that split programs into multiple segments of sustaining and non-sustaining coverage, the rating for the sustaining portion applies to the entire program broadcast.

It looks like folks flip from ABC after DwtS ends to aid in PB's ratings greatly. Maybe that is a hint that FOX, NBC, and CW will be much better off without DwtS around? Clearly, CBS isn't getting that 9:30 benefit with their programming.
T:SCC should have never gotten its back nine. Those numbers are terrible. A burnoff of My Own Worst Enemy got higher demos than it. It's going to completely tank on Fridays.
SW's retention out of DWTS is still terrible. It'll be even worse with the lead out factored in. As I said before, another comedy deserves a chance to have this huge lead in.

Thank you so much that DWTS finally kicks off, and goes away until March after tonight. At least people won't have to watch the "has beens" dancing around for 3 months.
Another clear victory for HIMYM against its non-rival rival, BBT. BBT's 152k advantage in total viewers doesn't mean much stacked up against HIMYM's advantage in the demo. Not when the total viewership for both shows is over 10mil.
And how stoked must CBS be that they have such a strong 8-9pm comedy bloc on Mondays now, leading right into 2.5 Men?
HIMYM was just plain good last night--NAKED MAN!!!
Much as I enjoyed the episode, I do hope guys don't start trying that now. It's TV, horny men, not reality--even reality TV isn't reality.
As a cautionary tale, let me mention a story I heard about a model who went back to her apartment with a guy she met in a bar who seemed nice--then turned around and he was standing there naked--holding a knife, and insisting that sexual favors be granted.
Ahead of his time, you say? The jury I was on ruled otherwise. I'm sure he's out by now. Pretty sure. Hope the young lady got over it.
So think twice about trying The Naked Man, but don't even THINK about The Naked Man with Knife.
This public service announcement was brought to you by pisher.
ABC can't wait for the dancing to begin again. It's January/February numbers are going to be horrid. They are going from 20 million + with Dancing to about 8 million with The Bachelor.
