Ed really gave me chills in the bar scene between Chuck and Blair towards the end. I completely hated him and wanted to console him at the same time.
The show, in one episode, has gone fabulously evil.

It would have been killed by the Carpoolers lead-in and by a new SVU. NBC had a killer night and ABC was DOA. Good move to save original Boston Legals until later.
As far as Lipstick Jungle goes, I wouldn't write it off just yet, after all, it's on NBC. The way things are going for them, it'll be a hit.
I would understand your point if ABC was planning a different Tuesday schedule in the coming weeks, but it does not. That 2-hour "comedy" block will be the lead-in for Boston Legal for the foreseeable future. ABC didn't save BL -- it just delayed the hurt a week. And starting next week, American Idol is added to the mix...
Idol airs at 8-10, not against BL. I think BL will do as it always does. Between 8-10 and 2.5-2.7 in the demo. No big changes at all, despite being pulled for a repeat of a low-rated new drama.

Can I add in some kudos to Chace Crawford, who gave his best performance last night as Nate?
Originally posted by WelcomeToK-VilleAmericanGladiators: As for Lipstick Jungle, depends on the quality of the show. Has anyone heard anything about the show or seen the pilot? NBC has been so secretive about it.
I saw the original pilot of Lipstick Jungle, but I know that some of the male cast members have been recasted since then and some other things may have been changed. I personally think its better written than Cashmere Mafia. The chemistry between the girls seems more realistic and I found the plot more enjoyable. That being said, its really not my kind of series.
Also, Candance Bushnell wrote the book, Lipstick Jungle, and is now the creator of the upcoming series. She also wrote the book Sex & The City, which is what that series is based off of. So I have a feeling "Jungle" will likely be better reviewed by critics and audiences. And with NBC doing well, I think Lipstick Jungle has a much better chance of succeeding. And by the time it airs, Cashmere Mafia would only have about two episodes left and the ratings by then would likely be so low that most viewers would have forgotten about the series.

Well that's not really saying much, but he wasn't bad. I was just really turned off by Nate's reaction to the whole situation; I mean, how hypocritical can he be?

Well, I am not really speaking on the character. Just Chace. For me, he has always been weak and just really hot. One of the reasons I tune in actually is because I would pay money to have his babies, and I am male, so that is difficult. But, I saw some increase in the acting ability last night, so I just wanted to give him some props.

I agree, I definitely noticed an improvement with Chace Crawford, but he's definitely not at Ed Westwick's level. It's seems like Chace was finally more confident. When GG comes back, they better not have an episode without Ed Westwick (Chuck Bass), he's quickly become the fan favourite!
I fail to understand how anybody can refer to GG numbers of 2.35 million as being good, or even acceptable.
This show opened to the most overblown hype, ever, with a disappointing 3.25 million viewers.
Since then, the show has averaged in and around 2.5 million viewers.
I thought that one of the justifications for keeping this show on air was that it needed time to build an audience. Somewhat dubious spin in my opinion.
So how, after 13 episodes, does 2.35 million look good? And as someone pointed out earlier, it is no great shakes to say GG grew out of Crowned.
Originally posted by Marc Berman: The 10 p.m. time period debut of drama Cashmere Mafia was a disappointment, however with just 6.16 million viewers and a 2.3/ 6 in the demo. Could this be a sign of gloom for NBC’s upcoming The Lipstick Jungle?
Ouch! It's disappointing since it's not that bad of a show. It's by no means an A+ must see show, but it's something descent to watch while my other shows are in repeat land. Maybe the CW would be interested in picking it up if ABC decides to scrap it. 6 million might be throw away for ABC, but 6 million would be better than their highest rated show.
You are right...viewers have clearly chosen the established Deal or No Deal over the mediocre Power of 10.

I know theres not many options, but CBS needs to move Power of 10 AWAY from DOND. Perhaps a Friday aring (9pm) or Tuesdays at 9pm, would help it out a little more.

Cashmiere Mafia would be about like Life is Wild in the ratings if it were on CW. Do not make the mistake of believing that viewers will switch networks to find the same show that is already being solidly rejected by a good portion of the people that have seen it.

You can't talk about GG's ratings without taking into account the fact that it's the #1 most downloaded television series on iTunes, and each episode is constantly illegally uploaded to YouTube by several different users. The internet has shown to have had a great impact on television when it comes to teenage viewership.
Not making excuses, but there is definitely factors

Veronica Mars was like that too all over streaming video sites, bittorrent, and peer to per networks and highly downloaded on iTunes.
