Just a thought about the CW press release about post-strike episodes..
What if the CW is trying to see how well Reaper does behind Smallville, as a test for next season? By this I mean...say next season..Smallville and Reaper are on one night and Supernatural is moved to Tuesday nights and paired with a different show. It could work and possibly prove to be a stronger line-up.
I also think pairing Gossip Girl and OTH is a smart move too.

There is no place for your cowardice racism. But that's always the route of people who hide behind their keyboards. I'm not going to stand for this. It is against the rules and regulations of pifeedback to use racial slurs, pisher.
But... but... BUT don't you know there's a difference between sarcasm and outright abuse? Well? Don't you??
Sorry, pisher, I tried to tell him you're just sarcastic, but as you know, everybody here barely notices what I say.
And these comments weren't meant to be racially offensive either, huh? Don't bother deleting them either, because I reported them hours ago -- if Marc was doing his job or cared about the integrity of this forum, you would be banned by now.
Chimera.
Do you seriously not get that I was taking the piss out of someone for saying that promoting some idiotic TV drama about vapid white yuppies that is going to get low ratings no matter what they do with it was more important than the NAACP Awards?
I'm not a big believer in bashing every attempt to be aware of ethnic sensitivities as 'PC', because sometimes that's just a cover for angry insecure rightwing white men getting to say whatever they want and get away with it.
But people like you sure make it easier for those guys to make their case.
fisher - whatsonpop has the right to name himself whatever he wants. He has the right to read your post or ignore them. You however have no right to use slurs like that on anyone.
Dude, I had no idea whatsonpop is Italian, and I wasn't using the word as anything but an abbreviation. I will not use it again.
But that doesn't mean I think whatsonpop is really offended. I don't know if he's even really Italian. He's just looking for an excuse to get me banned because he can't handle the snark, and is hoping he can accomplish by complaints to Marc what he can't accomplish with his weak-witted words. Good luck, man.

You do put on some airs, don't you--next thing you know you'll be wanting to elect some colored fella President."
(pisher patiently waits for somebody to call him racist for mentioning race).
I can't believe I'm getting into this, much less defending pisher, but...
I don't believe he was using "wop" as a slur. I automatically read it as an abbreviation of WhatsOnPop.
As for the quote, he wasn't being serious. Someone suggested that FOX move the NAACP award to Friday because it's low ratings wouldn't hurt as much. He was mocking that idea (implying that's what the network would be saying if they moved it), not actually suggesting someone say anything like that.

Wow. Sanity. I'd almost forgotten.
Thanks, Holly. And on that note, I'm going to let the remaining attempts at faux-indignation pass unremarked-upon.

Can we PLEASE get off the topic of pisher?
I find this to be more enjoyable than talking about the ratings for crappy shows like Eli Stone or One Tre Hill.

The problem with this is that you're assuming there's actual rhyme and reason to the CW's scheduling.
(Can we please move on now!? Pisher attacks opinions and I've yet to see his comments get personal against an individual, unlike others here.)
And actually, the worst fights here tend to happen when I'm not around.
I think I have a unifying effect on all the rude dimwitted humorless asshole posters on this forum, who band together to go after me, when they'd otherwise be lamely eviscerating each other.
And 1/2 of them are just the same person arguing with himself under different names.

Well, it's a theory, anyway.

I also do not think pisher was being intentionally offensive with either of his remarks. Holly has interpreted his actions correctly...a sloppy attempt at abbreviation and an attempt to be sarcastic at someone's marginalizing comments concerning the NAACP awards program.
What I do take great objection to, and I have complained to Marc but the post still remains, is the objectionable, vile comment (which I will not repeat or quote) that lost_dom directed towards pisher near the end of Wednesdays ratings discussion.
I felt offended for pisher that he or anyone should be on the receiving end of a comment like that, and that is where an apology or corrective action is called for.
