NBC has ordered an additiona six scripts. I'm sure it will be renewed for 13 episodes (maybe less).

Remember is it just for SCRIPS, not episodes.
May be a Wrtiters Strike build up.

I actually think it's commendable that NBC is keeping quality programming on the air. It was about time a network cared about how good their shows are instead of just making programing decisions based on the ratings...unfortunately, people are still watching AI and similar stuff...

quality??? oh yes, deal or no deal 2 or 3 times a week...identity or 1vs100...thank god....grease....

oh thats quality... Roll Eyes

If you are refering the "specials" thing to me, I put that there on the schedule b/c they are clip shows, just like last time Grey's anatomy did that.

You might be right.

CBs should be a tick up on ABC tonight and Friday. Sturdays are always up in the air and not much of a factor. Sunday will be the key. Can CBS stay near enough to ABC?

Was this the first time NBC has lost to the CW in the Demo? Looks like NBC will break that record for a 2nd week in a row. Good thing they have 30 R0ck and Scrubs to counter act ER and The Office/Earl good numbers.

SO far this week, abc and CBS are neck to neck in the demo. I'm thinking abc could finish ahead of cbs for the week.

I think it's less a CBS show than one that Marc doesn't pay much attention to and the people on this forum mention very little about it so it's easier to overlook.

Unfortunately, last night's "finale" was probably the weakest episode of the series. You have to assume, if they knew the show would be renewed, the outcome would have been quite different. As it stood, the show was functional as a neatly wrapped series finale. This reminds me of the Babylon 5 syndrome - forced to wrap up the story arc quickly then finding you have an entire season to fill.

The order for 6 more scripts seems odd,
coming at this time. If they are going
to put the show back on the air next
year, they have to assume it will get
more or less the same ratings, at best,
so why be tentative about script orders?
Such script orders are more typical
of a show whose ratings level is being
established.

Agree with above poster on overall ep
quality, but thought it was overly cagey
at the end on the 'to move or not to
move' question.

Yea.. Too bad no one really wants to watch them. Wink

Well, have you ever heard of the tyranny of the masses? Most often the majority of people don't know what's best for them...

According to demo breakdowns people with money and an education still flock to NBC...so if you don't watch any of their shows you're most likely broke and an idiot. Wink

Well, I guess there's the problem if those are the shows you're watching. I personally dont watch them, but I think they are better than AI or DWtS...
