My sister watches OC repeats on SoapNet and she left the TV on one day and I walked in to find 90210 on. Not a good thing.

Perhaps Time Warner needs to take over the CW and start programming it similar to how they program TNT/TBS. Then, the network would start getting truely good/great ratings.

Raising the Bar also finished among all new ad-supported cable networks this year to-date among adults 18-49 (2.8 million) and adults 25-54 (3.5 million). And it beat former record-holders The Closer on TNT in households and USA’s The 4400 in total viewers.

I'll be interested to see how many people come back for next week's installment, especially against the MNF premiere (GO PACKERS!).

Don't let the numbers deceive you. The show was atrocious. Great acting but just downright poor writing. I don't expect the numbers to hold especially once the Closer is done. I for one won't be wasting my time after next week if it doesn't improve because the best legal show on TV will be airing there in the coming weeks, Boston Legal!

We were watching Animal Planet yesterday and saw that. Not really sure what I thought of it.

For complete Medal count and winners, visit the PIFC Daily Game Medal Site. There, you will view all-time winners, current medal standings and Daily Game milestones.
So GOssip Girl is down 7.4 % in viewers (Fast National to fast National comparison). One Tree Hill is down either 6.55 (if you compare it to the first hour, it opened with a two hour block), or 9.64 (if you count hte averaged two hour).
But they both did nearly identical in the standard adult 18-49 demo. Am curious on the overall 18-38 demo (as opposed to just the female of that same demo). Hopefully with finals.

WOW, amazing numbers. And i don't think it will drop so much that it gets canceled before the 1st season it's over, especially since it was a good episode (sorr for all the haters on the forum)

Indeed. It is a shame the writing is so weak (and the previews for next week looked just as bad) or this show could stay at that level. of course, I find The Closer obnoxious as well and people seem to think that show is great.

If Raising the Bar had debuted on CW with all the same promotion and such, it would have had 3 million viewers, tops. Most people attach themselves to networks and don't seek out new shows, so the TNT viewers would not turn the channel to watch the same show if it were on CW. The difference in viewer levels from local market to local market supports the fact that the same kind of viewing patterns goes on for broadcast TV as well.

I take everything, everything less than bashing The Closer. It's one of the best procedural shows i've ever seen and i've seen plenty.
