I think FOX has confused everyone with T:SCC. They seem to be dropping it all over the place, and people don't know when it is on. They should have just repeated it all summer in its regular time slot instead of just dropping it all over at the end of summer, and against the Olympics.

If they put some stuff up on a second channel, maybe a person could actually watch sports instead of sap/filler/comentary? In some countries, they get multiple channels of coverage and NBCU advertised that the US would get that this time around. Yet, in reality, they have not delivered that promise in any meaningful way.
Sounds like you need to stop watching the Olympics. You don't seem to be enjoying yourself watching it.

What is the point of this stunt casting? There is almost zero chance that he will turn out to be the mother.
Why does HIMYM have more guest stars than any show ? Can't they just stick to stories with the five regulars ? The show does fine as it is. It is almost like they think they can't survive without constantly doing stunt casting to try and bring in ratings.
I like the week long marathon of T:SCC. I wish Networks would do this more often in the summer.

I've only seen Winter Olympics on US on NBC (i always go back to Europe when the summer games are on) and i must say i find the NBC coverage unwatchable beacause of the soapiness and the commercial breakes) Here (and i'm not talking only about romanian TV) the commercials are aired ONLY during event breaks and don't last more than a couple of minutes. It's a HUGE difference, you can actually enjoy the games
As for the comments about romanian gimnasts i can only say one thing: i prefer a clean bronze than a gold obtained by torturing little girls like it used to be in the past. I'm still amazed the Karolyis are allowed to take care of the US tema after so many misses and such bad selection process

I don't think that HIMYM has any more guest stars than the other CBS comedies. 2&1/2Men has the bimbo(s) of the week and BBT has people like Laurie Metcalf and D.J. Qualls (and even Sara Gilbert).

NBC is all talk but rarely delivers. Personally, I'm glad I live in Europe. I get to see the Olympics on different European channels, the commercial breaks are limited to the necessary and the focus is more on sports.
Does NBC only air during primetime or also during the day?

And what relevance are steroids during the gymnastics? Have any of the American girls tested positive for steroids or HGH? Really, if they have they must have been "juicing" they must have been "Tom Thumb" tiny to begin with. NBC has talked about steroids in their swimming coverage quite a bit.

To add fuel to the whinefest of anything the US doesn't win, the US women's Gymnastics coordinator, karolyi, claimed that China was cheating by delaying the US team's performance on the balance beam and causing them to lose the gold medal as a result.
Karole's wife coaches the team and he is the former coach himself. You get what you get with him. He is brutally honest with the way he sees things. If he is doing the main commentating, then (along the way he might invent a new language), you might have a point. However, he is only there to give his take from his percpective as the former U.S.A. coach. I doubt sitting back in the studio he knew what caused the dely.
You know the other countries have their own TV coverage? They don't need to watch NBC.

NBC seems to be doing only primetime. The rest of the day, coverage is getting rotated between their other affiliated cable channels (USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Bravo, etc...)
