quote: Felicity, though ended early ended perfect. It was about her journey through College and it was. Abrams himself has stated he had never pictured the series beyond College. Just cause a show is canceled under 5 seasons or at 5 seasons does not mean it was not popular, could you say that about Firefly, Angel, Veronica Mars?
You're mistaking what we're saying. Felicity WAS popular. For about a year. Was it enjoyable through the entire run? Most of the time, yes. It ended perfectly, but everyone was on board to continue had WB not canceled it. CW would kill for a show half as good as Felicity.

quote: As I recall, season 3/4 levels weren't THAT spectacular. It pulled in around 3.2ish million viewers. One Tree Hill and Smallville, as well all know, are capable of doing that. The problem is, CW is miss using them.
Yup, 3.2 million and it got the show canceled. That number may even be factoring repeat ratings... which if you factored in for OTH and Smallville wouldn't make those shows look too hot either. If CW's biggest hits are performing just above what used to get stuff canceled on the WB the network is in trouble. Then again, they were in trouble from day 1. And the WB was on the way out a couple of years before the merger was even a twinkle in Dawn Ostroff's eye...

I'd kill to erase the eps I did watch from my memory banks. It ended perfectly? Not even most of its FANS would agree with that statement.
