Thanks for the estimates, I'd be so happy with 13.5 million! As for the steep declines, well, I think this is the season where the winners will be the shows that have declined the least. Here is a quote from Marc in the primetime schedules thread: "Well, I'm heading to Arizona tonight to do a presentation on the fall 2007 season, so I can't watch live. But my first DVR choice is Lost."

Sorry, but I can't believe the conclusion you've come to. First off, you started off with the words common sense. What comes after that must obviously be derived from flawed logic. Common sense isn't your strong suit, pisher. Wait, come to think of it nothing is. |

the first sentence is the funniest thing i've read or heard today. pisher, you weren't there. you aren't there. you don't know. the offer was made. it was declined. that variety put in an article that the offer was made was a HUGE mistake on their part because offers are made and declined (for any number of reasons) ALL OF THE TIME and the reason they pulled it from the article is likely because it should never have been there in the first place. quote: Originally posted by pisher: quote: Oh, were you there?

DWTS needed more content. Not sure why they didn't have more of the professionals dance, why no singer... you'd think with 23-24 million viewers at it's peak it could have snagged a famous singer to do his/her thing. but the setup of the show was made for an 8pm start. the opening half hour was mostly a recap because they were going to be up against idol. they've done it before. then the show kicks in at the secend half hour. but since abc moved it to nine.. it seemed a little odd. quote: Originally posted by tv avenger:

I understand why they would want to have it at 2 hours for the huge ratings that they know it will get, but come on, make it a little more entertaining and dont rehash so much. The reason last falls DWTS finale got such huge ratings,I believe, is because it aired on a Sun. night and it was the only big thing on that night, last night their were many choices to choose from and it still did extremely well, but not a well as in the fall, but thats o.k. well take what we can get. My prediction for Lost is that it will get 15-16 mill. There has been so much hoopla on line regarding this game changing moment that I feel people are actually excited to see it.
