Because it is like saying you support the Hitman but not the Hit. I never engage in political rant on these boards because it goes off topic but I kind of just felt like it right now.

I never get involved in the political either, but felt driven to do so today. I don't always agree with what Rosie has to say, I just hate seeing someone villified for something they did not say. I see your attempt in the hitman reference but it's not quite the same. Comparing illegal activities to the nations military structure is not really apples to apples.

x I believe you, but I'm confused about the second part of your message. Is it mostly about the religious right and how they've play an influence, because I don't think they've gotten a whole lot out of Bush save for the whole partial birth abortion ban (but most Americans are okay with that according to polls) so I guess I'm confused. Are we talking about the Patriot Act? Because that does scare me. I just don't like people who automatically hate others because they are a Christian or they are conservative or they support a war. There's so much more to life than that.

I don't care whether you like Rosie or not, but I do care when you support some of the causes that she is opposed to. Sorry, but I take my rights very seriously and when anyone wants to oppress them and tell me that my rights should be taken away, that is where my concern lies.

In actuality, most people don't give a flip about either one of them. Did PI get changed to "Political Intolerance"?
Hopefully when Marc lands in Arizona he will make a point that this is a television ratings site and not a forum to push political beliefs.
I'm not trying to push my beliefs on anyone. I'm just stating my point. Why do my posts always get quoted for this sort of whining? There are roughly a dozen others who have posted on this same thing today and it is relevant to TV because it comes straight from the View. Not to mention, its kind of a slow news day save for the horrible ratings for Veronica.

That thought did cross my mind as I posted...for that I apologize.
But this

...has nothing to do with TV.
This

And we can never pile on enough about the bad VM ratings.
Hey its alright. We do get a bit off topic but that keeps this place lively. I agree about the VM bashing. Sigh, I'm goona miss those low results.

Do we get summer repeats? Perhaps I live feed from Dumont at CW headquarters trying to save the show for the hundreth time. Or maybe he's to busy trying to save What About Brian.

Just look at it this way, you'll still be able to look at and discuss the incredibly low ratings MyNetworkTV telenovelas.

Any chance you have a half hour breakdown for On The Lot? I'd love to know what the tune out was in the second half hour.
Veronica Mars first run episode average: 2.64million Girlfriends first run episode average: 2.69million All of Us first run episode average: 2.62million

I don't know if you saw this in the first post or not...and even though it's not official, I can't imagine it changed that much.
On the Lot (Fox) 9:00 p.m. Viewers: 11.27 million, A18-49: 5.0/13 9:30 p.m. Viewers: 6.67 million, A18-49: 3.2/ 8 Percent Change – Viewers: -41, A18-49: -36

Someone speculated that Idol ran a few minutes long, which might account for the 'high' starting point for On The Lot. I was just wondering if there was a breakdown for the show that definitely excluded the Idol overrun.
Idol did run 2 minutes over last night until 9:02, which will probably lessen the drop slightly. I don't think I've ever seen that level of viewer tuneout, though.
whatsonpop: is exactly correct of what happened. I watch the view every day and I've noticed that they seem to pick clips that never represent the real picture of the debate. They always call Rosie a big, fat lesbian and completely over blow what she says. Elisabeth is one of those people the media treats like a princess. Even if she's really wrong, they protray her as right. Any whatsonpop: saw what I saw and heard today.
