I agree that airing the final 2 eps of SW that aired after Dancing ended before new eps is a good idea. Roughly 55% of the audience was not viewing those eps.

I'm gonna try the Bruce route (and keep as brief as possible) and clarify that I am a fan of these shows:

BIG BROTHER - The pairing up hasn't worked. It's kind of screwed with the game because, for example, you may like one of the members of the couple and not another. Timelosts are horrific (can't go three deep on reality programming) and twice a week against AI.

JERICHO - Horrible timeslot and bad lead-in - but CBS sent it off to die when they pulled the long hiatus during season one and then brought it back against AI. Hope they move it after NCIS.

BOSTON LEGAL - ABC Tuesday is like Death Valley in July - empty. They are wasting this great show with no lead-in.

Did Clooney break his contract in order to leave ER?

Lets hope she breaks hers and leaves too. She has to be the most annoying character on the entire thing (more annoying than Meredith). Gizzie about lost me as a viewer. If it weren't for Bailey, Christina, and Alex, I wouldn't be watching the show anymore.

Wouldn't surprise me at all to see her give Grey's Anatomy the same treatment that Pierce Brosnan gave Remington Steele.

I guess that all 8 pre-strike Lost episodes will run in the current timeslot as there had been mentions that only seven would air now and six would air post-Grey's (which would now be impossible).
They could move the Grey's Anatomy finale up an hour to 8pm and follow it up with a 2 hour finale of Lost.
I doubt that happens. If anything, we'll get some 2 night event thingy going on for Lost, perhaps a Wednesday-Thursday night event.

I agree again, mushu. in fact, Gizzie did lose me as a viewer for a while. Once that storyline is put to rest (I was going to say put to bed, but considering the storyline, that would be an oxymoron, right?), let me know so I can go back to enjoying the show I once loved.

Edited to clarify: I actually don't want her to leave the show -- I loved her before the George-Izzie thing, so once that storyline is over, let me know. I actually would love to see her returning the affection of Carev (sp?) -- they've both been through tortured relationships, and Carev still has feelings for her, I believe.

I agree that BB is underperforming what CBS expected. Not sure of your second comment though. Of all the Networks, CBS has made more RIGHT decisions than the other nets.

I don't know. Fox recently has given CBS a run for their money and the new Fox spring schedule is just about perfect in my book.

I agree -- FOX's upcoming schedule looks very strong, and a couple of shows that critics have dismissed stand a better chance in my view. If even a couple of those shows get 10+ million, FOX will truly become formidable next Fall, even without Idol.

Their Monday lineup will probably bomb yet and I don't see either midseason comedy panning out (especially Jezebelle James on Fridays) but other than that, I'd say it was all good moves.

Well its pretty much over. It was never going to work, so my biggest question was why ever try it in the first place? I still see George and Callie ending up together.

Why would HIMYM have that kind of drop when it doesn't get that much lower numbers than BBT in the lower HUT slot?
I'm not saying it will. But IF it were too, then its a goner.
Well, ok, but IF Big Bang Theory suddenly performs 2 million viewers lower than HIMYM, they will turn around and cancel its order for next year as well. Wink

Yes, I really liked George and Callie too -- but how could Callie possibly ever take him back?

Bones and House will bomb on Monday nights?

I think he meant the 1st Monday lineup, thru April 7, as follows:

Mondays (March 10-April 7)
8:00/7:00c - "Canterbury's Law" (New Series)
9:00/8:00c - "New Amsterdam" (New Series)

Still, I actually liked the previews for both of those shows. Julianna Marguiles looks good in Canterbury, and New Amsterdam looks like a reimagined Angel. Too bad they don't have Bones as a regular lead-in to get the David Boreanez fans to sample it...

Here's the rest of the Monday lineup:

Monday, April 14
8:00/7:00c - "Bones" (New Episode)
9:00/8:00c - "New Amsterdam" (Season Finale)

Monday, April 21
8:00/7:00c - "Bones" (New Episode)
9:00/8:00c - "House" (Repeat)

Mondays (April 28-May 19)
8:00/7:00c - "Bones" (New Episodes)
9:00/8:00c - "House" (New Episodes)
