Interesting pattern for the CW, it looks like its two sitcoms specifically targeting African-American audiences did better than the ones aiming for crossover appeal.

"The Bachelor" beat "Journeyman" in demo off of identical lead-ins. In my book, that makes "Journeyman" the loser.

"K-Ville" is in trouble. Maybe it would do better away from cable football and wrestling.

More like KO-Ville.

Good. "Aliens" somehow manages to be both a giant douche and a turd sandwich. Dawn of the Dead Network must have really sent out some extra nice gift baskets to get this thing the positive reviews it's gotten.

Glad to see some signs of life from "Big Bang." It's hilarious, and surprisingly well-written.

I agree.

Checked out BIG BANG for the first time to see what the hype was about. I laughed once maybe twice but seriously...The entire show should have ended the minute she found out the guys had trespassed in her place. Not only would she have never spoken to them again but she would have called the police too. For all she knew they could be closet rapists...very poor show.

I think CHUCK will eventually do a slow fade like the awesome SURFACE did two years ago.

Saddest news is about PRISON BREAK...its such a good show-I'm sorry its getting anihlatd by DANCING were the female viewers have no doubt fled too without the onscreen Michael/Sarah chemistry.

P.S. I'm actually more excitd about the ratings results this week to see how the news shows fair after being curiosity sampled last week.

Glad to see PB doing so bad. It shows you can not take the people for stupids. I mean the 1st season was great, the second was OK but the first 3 episodes of the 3rd season are a mess. A complete mess.

It is a shame that 'Aliens in America' didn't get better sampling. It is a much better show than the sampling indicates. For that matter, 'Girlfriends' (the longest running non-cartoon sitcom on any US network) is far, far better than its competition and far better than its ratings suggest.

The numbers for the sitcoms, overall, are about what I expected. It is interesting that 'The Game' had a viewer uptick. It corresponds to the Adage.com report on ad rates that showed 'The Game' would command the highest ratings of the night. The people that really know what they are talking about in this business must have seen something in that show.

K-Ville has the hours counted. Big Bang depends on how much time CBS offers it. It does rather well but i give it 50-50 chances for a full season

What are you crazy about The Big Bang Theory ? The show is beating HIMYM by plenty, and it is second in its time slot after DWTS. Why in the world would would CBS cancel it ?

Mondays should be added with the bad CW dates along with Sunday and probably Tuesday. Wednesday & Thursday might still have some hope. Friday is the only "good" CW day.

Heroes is amaazing! Its ratings should raise up a bit more, but I'm sure that it won't be canceled anytime soon.

As for the new shows on this day, I'm only looking forward for Chuck. It has an entertaining storyline and its ratings aint that bad.

Overall, Heroes was the best on the night, as well as DWTS of course.

I am bummed about the numbers for Aliens in America as well. It was a very funny show.

FOX might want to think about cancelling its whole Monday lineup. All the extra push/advertising/encores for K-Ville aren't helping the show at all.

wow! it's good to see Girlfriends and The Game doing better than EHC. "The Game" was actually the highest rated of the bunch...last season it was barely tying "Girlfriends."

CBS has cancelled shows that were first in their time slots. It's all about the numbers not about the places. And 8-9 million viewers won't make CBS happy. Ask that to The Class fans.

Looking at the numbers for CBS for premiere week and this week, it appears the biggest drop from week to week is Rules of Engagement. The first number is change in households and the second number is change in 18-49 demo.

How I Met Your Mother: -4.7%, -6.2%
Big Bang Theory: -10.3%, -8.1%
2 1/2 Men: -0.4%, -2.1%
Rules of Engagement: -12.7%, -11.4%
CSI Miami: +0.3%, even

I tried watching Big Bang Theory and was very disappointed. Turned the channel after 10 minutes. It's as bad as Rules of Engagement. Christine must be brought back. While Christine's ratings may not be as good, the show creativity is much better in my opinion.

The negative news is that last week they had a 1.3million viewer lead and a 15.5% demo growth. Expect HIMYM to continue to close this gap; not good for CBS since HIMYM has the harder (lower HUT) timeslot.

It's a very old fashioned show. Modern tech and cultural references can't alter that.

Yes, but you left out one huge factor. There was no DWTS when The Class debuted. Just wait until DWTS goes on its break, the numbers for BBT will blow away The Class.
