Pisher why don't you just give Castle a break and tear down another series. It's such a well written comedy mystery that amazes week to week in how well done it is -- that is the reason for it's ratings growth and really it should be getting higher ratings that what it is. It is one of the best shows on tv.
I agree. Last nights episode was really good. I thought that it was the best of the series so far. "Best case ever!!" lol

Raking in enough funds to top a Forbes list is not an easy feat. Both Oprah and Tyler Perry have made the magazine's infamous lists. Today, Tyra Banks follows suit as she becomes the top earning woman in prime-television...
In order:
1. Tyra Banks: $30 million 2. Katherine Heigl: $18 million 3. Marg Helgenberger: $9.5 million 4. Eva Longoria: $9 million 5. Mariska Hargitay: $8.5 million 6. Julia Louis-Dreyfus (tie): $8 million 7. Maura Tierney : $8 million 8. Tina Fey: $7 million 9. Marcia Cross: $6.2 million 10. Jennifer Love Hewitt & Ellen Pompeo (tie): $6 million
In that list Julia Louis-Dreyfus leaps out at me as being horribly overpaid. She's still getting paid for Seinfeld's ratings, not for anything Old Christine has ever done.

Huh? And Tyra Banks isn't? Her show has half the audience of Old Christine and her talk show was failing in regular syndication so they had to move it to the CW daytime.

I said Old Christine has never done anything, (nor will it ever do anything in future) to deserve high pay for its star. For Tyra, her problems are recent and her shows were UPN and CW top earners, top raters, top endorsement earners, you name it. She also earns a lot of income for appearances, etc.
Mush, if you read posts carefully before responding you will respond more intelligently. You seem to be all in a rush to make post after countless post., It's like some pressure you're under over which you have no control. My remarks to you are too personal, I know, but what you do is completely irritating.

No pressure here. I just enjoy commenting on the forum. I guess maybe I just shouldn't comment as much? I can type fast so it allows me to respond quickly. I guess responding here means I probably am still annoying you. No hard feelings.
And FYI, I clearly read your post. You claimed that JLD was the most horribly overpaid. I think Tyra is much much more overpaid and even at her peak, never had as popular of a show as even Old Christine. JLD was number six. Maura Tierney tied her! Tyra was number one. Any of the Desperate Housewives or Greys Anatomy actresses should be worth more in my mind. Tina Fey, the most visible female in primetime has to be worth more than her. She brought SNL back from the grave and has a more popular show. This is about Tyra's primetime TV shows, which combined are not as popular as the other people I mentioned. This is not about her talk show (incredibly annoying program), other endorsements, etc. That was why I responded with Tyra but figured my remarks were clear. Sorry if they weren't.

Steady at a moderate level is more than ABC can claim for a majority of their new shows over the past few years, so they should definitely hang onto Castle if it can keep this up.
Yeah nobody cancels a show that gets 10 million viewers. It is definitely a shoe-in for a 3rd season
