Does anyone know what the ratings for a premiere episode of Saturday Night Live are on average?

The 7 eps were aired once last spring and could've been brought back this past month and aired in a row before the new year. Its not like Christine, HIMYM, or 2.5 Men can't air a few extra repeats or maybe even King of Queens for that matter.
I think the best move would have been to double up on Two and a Half Men repeats this summer in the 9 pm hour.
That would have gotten the best ratings.

Ratings for both shows were awful, so does it really matter.

Yes, but reairing the Rules of Engagement episodes also gives them more exposure. quote: Originally posted by himymfan22: quote: Originally posted by tvfan300: quote: Originally posted by mushu_jj: CBS is not doing the show any favors by repeating it oodles of times. True. That reminds me, do you think anyone will still remember Notes of the Underbelly when it comes back on the schedule.

You know, in my opinion, that show really improved as time went on last year. ABC should've reaired the first seven eps this summer, perhaps on Wednesdays at 8:30 instead of extra Jim and I also would've doubled up Greys repeats.

I saw it once or twice and thought it was pretty good.

Ya and the character of the snarky best friend was really funny.

Nope. Not very many people knew about it in the first place. Mediocre single-camera comedies won't cut it on ABC.

Thanks, Travis. Any way we could get last Monday's #'s? Showtime remains silent about their ratings, so they can't be too overjoyed. At the same time, their Monday lineup remains fairly stable for the moment. And deeply deeply unimpressive. I mean, how do you spin a 0.3 18-49 rating? Yes, yes, I know it's about the total audience, not the first-showing audience, but let's get real--fewer than a million people in a nation of over 300mil seriously give a damn if they miss Weeds or Californication. It's very optional viewing, even for people who like it. If that works for Showtime, good for them. They've learned to live with failure.

This is doing really well for MTV. I can't believe it got a 2.6.

You know I'm the age of those Hills folks and i just don't get why people like it. Watching paint dry is more amusing.

Hey--is there a LESS watched scripted single-camera show than Californication on TV right now?
I'm trying hard to think of one, but nothing's coming.
