It apperars that was one of the options the writers presented to Patinkin but he refused.

Nice to see a good turnout for the season finale. The better chef won. This season's chef were better than anyother, but the finalists in season 1 is still the strongest chefs.

Can't wait for Top Chef Chicago!!!

Supernatural was strong in season 1 (post Gilmore Girls) which leads me to believe that there is a strong female following that is being taken away by Grey's on Thursday. The numbers won't drop due to a strong fan following. The CW would just be putting it in a better position, away from Grey's and CSI, to grow.

Even if ratings drop by 20% it will still be a successful show.
