Good numbers for MNTV.

The same ratings post has the 15 minute breakdowns and it is interesting to look at. A lot of the struggling shows have a high ratings mark at 0 to 15 minutes in, it dips much lower from 15 to 45 minutes, and then perks up slightly 45 to the hour mark. It just shows that the lead in, lead out factor is important and that some shows are really struggling to keep their viewers within the hour.

You know, I get that WWE Friday Night Smackdown did not fit in with the kind of theme that the CW wanted, but I think everyone can see that this will hurt the CW more than they think especially with giving a rival network a show that's breaking records week in and week out

CW has ordered a couple more scripts for its underdog soap "Privileged," the network confirmed.

The Warner Bros./CBS Paramount/Alloy Entertainment drama has been struggling in ratings on Tuesday nights, yet has demonstrated some growth in recent weeks even as lead-in "90210" has softened.

The last "Privileged" episode was up 22% to 2.3 million viewers, 1.1 adults 18-49 rating and a 3 share.

The CW considers "Privileged" firmly on brand for the network, and continued growth could result in a pickup despite lower-than-average CW ratings.

The number is down slightly from last week. People expecting Smackdown to reach the levels it did on CW need to give up that fantasy. It isn't going to happen unless/until MNTV makes major changes to its affiliate lineup.

I agree with that assessment, especially for shows like The Ex-List and Life.
The 15 minute breakdowns also reveal that many viewers don't care what they watch (or aren't smart enough to even figure out what they are watching). Look at how many people tuned in for the second hour of Crusoe. Either those people don't even care that they missed the first hour of the show (in this age of DVR/VCR/etc... it shouldn't be that hard to watch the two hours of PREMIERE in order) or people cannot even tell that they are coming into the middle of a show (they just turn the TV on and drool like the rest of Pavlov's dogs).

Maybe it was interesting because you just got your driver's license?
I thought the episode was rather a clunker.

I agree that CW should be ordering up a full season of Reaper. However, more than anything, the CW simply needs MORE first run programming. I don't mind at all if they order more of a show like Privileged now and then they can run more Reaper all through the summer.

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The CW is tweaking its MRC-produced Sunday lineup as its early Fringe schedule will now feature repeats of "Valentine" in favor of fellow newcomer "In Harm's Way."

The change, which takes affect this Sunday (October 26), puts the lineup as follows:

5:00/4:00c - "4Real" (Repeats)
5:30/4:30c - "4Real" (Originals)
6:00/5:00c - "Valentine" (Repeats)
7:00/6:00c - "In Harm's Way" (Originals)
8:00/7:00c - "Valentine" (Originals)
9:00/8:00c - "Easy Money" (Originals)

The additional "Valentine" run however won't be an encore of the previous week's episode but rather a rebroadcast of the show itself from its pilot (on October 26) forward.

All three primetime series posted a paltry 0.2 rating among adults 18-49 last night.

I thought the episode was pretty funny. Not the best, but funny. My favorite part was Sheldon on the moped with Walowitz. Big Grin

That is alright, Walter you really can ignore any of Obveeus's "reviews" on this show, because he hasn't seen one he liked yet, and for the life of me, I still can't figure out why he watches the show.

I liked it, too, but I didn't think it was their best one ever. I pretty much agree with what yankeesrj12 said about the show.

The buzz on the internet is about Penny's first scene in her night clothes, and what she was wearing or not wearing. Really hot. Big Grin

Good job again MNTV.

I like that 15 minute breakdown they offered on Sitcoms Online. It was interesting to see that Wife Swap had a higher demo in the last half hour, and then Supernanny dropped off a little.

I think that the winners last night were Desperate Housewives, Family Guy, and possibly The Simpsons. It is still amazing that after its 20th season, The Simpsons has a 3.8 demo. Plus I can't believe Family Guy was cancelled for a couple years.

The losers last night would definetley be Valentine, Easy Money, Football, Brothers & Sisters, and American Dad. The two MRC series are complete duds. The football game last night got little traction. Brothers & Sisters and American Dad lose quite a lot of their lead in.

I wouldnt call In Harms Way a loser though considering it is airing at 7pm and it still has to face competition from some football games. Plus its most likely the cheapest of the MRC series to make.
