I am not shocked that OR was improved last night. I really think that a lot of on the fence shows are going to muster up quite an audience in the spring and find their footing. Too bad Journeyman was not a midseason start...I really think it could have done well. I stopped watching as the axe was set to swing.

I'm going to wait until I see if Dumont gets behind the show before coming to such conclusions.

Thanks for filling in, Travis. Maybe in the future you could take an extra minute or two to explain why...why...why people watch shows like Clash of the Choirs? Seriously, that show's description sounds as bad as Crowned, yet almost 8 million people watched it?

Good. Let the networks squirm. Hope your shareholders aren't getting too angry since you've started giving cash back to advertisers, all you other networks.
Isn't NBC the only Net giving cash back???
If the strike goes on for long enough eventually all of them are going to have to give the money back. The advertisers have not set up a welfare state.
I thought they were waiting until after the new year, then start giving "Make-goods"

Don't get too excited. The 'bombs' were on par with those networks scripted shows.
just b/c you dont like 2.5 men doesnt mean its not a well made show. it is by far the strongest comedy on tv today (and leads in syndication now)...2.5 is very funny and does not always revolve around charlie.
by the way, you do sound like an elitest...although that is the word you used, i would use snob.

Wow, I can't believe 11 million people would rewatch TWO AND A HALF MEN. But I am glad they didn't waste an orginal episode of SAMANTHA WHO against it. ABC's future plans for SW don't look encouraging. I hope they change their minds and find a mor protective time slot for it.
JOURNEYMAN...in its death throes its down to nearly DAYBREAK ratings. Not to sound elitest but I have to wonder what's wrong in that a show like TWO MEN...when you really peel down the onion so to speak its basically a show whose plots continually revolve around some variation-forgive me if this is a bit graphic but-some variation of a male character getting or trying to get his member inside some guest woman of the week. That's pretty much what it boils down to and this is HUGLY popular with viewers...where creative shows like JOURNYMAN or DAYBREAK can't get seem to find an audience outside of a small core group of fans.
Wow, haven't soapboxed like that in a while but its how I feel.

Pair it with the last 3 Chuck episodes ans you would have a nice little block of programming!!!

Even if the strike ended today, most hour long dramas would still be 2-3 months out before new episodes would be ready

You are so right X. He is the ultimate show killer, indicator.

That would be great, but how many episodes of BSG got written before the strike started?
