Nothing here surprising except that you like Back To You better than Til Death. TD got a lot better this year and I'd definitely pick that one of the two. Next time you get the hankering to watch an Aliens In America online episode, but spend the time on 'Til Death. -

Now aren't you glad Lunch Lady didn't win "Survivor: China"? Posted on Dec 19, 2007 9:13:57 AM Discuss This: Comments (0) | TrackBack (0) | Linking Blogs | Add to del.icio.us | Digg it
Seems like the Lunch Lady keeps changing her story.
Remember in Sunday's finale of "Survivor: China" when Denise Martin -- the Lunch Lady -- said she had been demoted to janitor?
Not true. Turns out that Martin had been promoted, at her request, to a job with better pay at a Douglas, Mass., school.
Martin finished fourth in the latest "Survivor." After hearing her story of woe, executive producer Mark Burnett offered $50,000 to help her.
On CBS' "The Early Show," Martin's true story was revealed.
Douglas Schools Superintendent Nancy Lane said, "We granted her a leave to go to participate in 'Survivor.' And did everything possible to support her. And when she returned, she of course returned to the position that she left, which is the custodial position."
Martin acknowledged that was true and apologized for misleading anyone.
What a disappointing ending to this reality show.

I have actually watched Til Death Recently (the Wine Birthday Gift). Again. it was JUST OK. Never really laughed with it. But you are right, it was better than the Pilot (the only other episode I've seen)
Oh, and don't worry, AiA is not something I plan on watching again.

Actually, most shows are staying with New Episodes. CBS has kept most of its dramas in originals during the holiday season. Even the CW has done similar programming.
About the only series not airing orginals are those that are out of new episodes.
ABC has been in repeats, though. That's the problem. Repeats of dramas that don't repeat well and crappy reality/game shows. And one established series still in originals. ABC's fault.

True. They interrupted it with an episode of Life, which may have caused confusion.. Anyway, I wouldn't be mad if it was canceled. I would rather have it end good, then go on and end poorly. I just have to hope that tonight's episode does way better, or else it's gone.

The real question should be "How many people knew it was still on the air?"

ABC's Fault? I would say Writers Strike's Fault. Or perhaps Lack of DWtS Leadin's Fault.

I'll buy that. They probably should have saved this week's ep. for January, though. Last week's too maybe. I think they have enough stockpiled that doing so would have kept them in originals in January and February.

Once were funny but have seen better days: Scrubs, Earl, Simpsons
Make me run Screaming from the room: 2.5 Men, Back to You, Til Death, According to Jim.
Funniest show on TV but not on a network: It's Always Sunny in Philadephia.

How there are still people tuning out of Journeyman (week-to-week) at this point is beyond me. This show has gotten so ridiculously good.
You are not kidding. The more I watch the better it gets. Just goes to show you that either people just have bad taste in shows, or the Neilsen ratings is nothing but BS. I tend to agree with the latter.
