I think 1.2 - 1.5 million is more than "Just a Few"

More bad news for The CW. Which is just old news at this point.

Peace!!

Here's to it going back to growing out of lead in B&tG, which deserves kudos for growing week to week by a solid margin. I think as people tire of the NBC block and ABC's wretched comedies it may grow into the mid-3 million viewer level. That would probably warrant a new season.

Just as the DUMONT NETWORK passed into history can the CW be a year or two away?

I'll bet those STAR TREK ENTERPRISE ratings from the old UPN part of their DNA is looking damn good right now. They never should have cancelled it.

CBS still needs to give is special aring after one of its Bigger hits (NCIS, CSI, Criminal Minds)

It becomes more of a joke every day!

The Unit loses more than 30% of the viewers from NCIS, yet NCIS gets "Honorable Mention".

Cane loses yet another 20% from The Unit and it is not a "loser", or even "disappointing" (as has been used recently). Cane even finished behind Cavemen and Carpoolers in 18-49!

Marc, one time, can you explain this?

I don't think CBS would waste time on pushing Kid Nation to Saturday. They will just put the rest of the shows online and forget it even happened.

I'm sure they will be scheduling a very special Cane episode following Viva Laughlin come next month.

I know that happend to PIRATE MASTER...did all the episodes eventually air on line? It would be a double insult to fans if KID NATION went on line and then they didn't show all the episodes.

9 million might be acceptable, but a 2.4 demo number is not. Especially when CBS cancelled shows (i.e. Close To Home) that was airing on a Friday night getting more viewers and a much better demo rating.

As with K-Ville, Cane is "stable," but I don't know how important "stable" is when you're stable at an unacceptable number. Both of them may have bought one more (relatively undeserved) airing in their original slots, but they need to start going up.

Fox and Boston Legal look fine, and that's increasingly becoming all that matters to me on Tuesday. BL will drop below the 11 mil mark with the 2-minute Dancing overrun, though.

These days 9 million should be an accaptable number.

Does Cavemen look like its going to level off? Nope. Its gone after next week.

HArd to say until week three. I mean, GG, Cane, and a couple of others had big drops in week #2 then leveled off in week 3.

Perhaps 7 million is its number.
In 7 days, we'll know

I noticed this similarity to Mondays CBS 8-9 pm hour comedies too.

By way of context, Cavemen's 2.5 A18-49 rating surpassed every single one of George Lopez's demo ratings last season at Tuesday 8 or 8:30 pm (6 originals, 13 encores). The Cavemen viewer/demo number also surpassed the 8-8:30 pm viewership and demo average that ABC's summer hit "Just for Laughs" received in the low-HUT Tuesday opening half-hour.

I don't think ABC will panic on Cavemen. A strong third place rating is probably around what they guaranteed advertisers. And when they issue their spin later today, I once again expect to see it doing very well in the M18-34 and M18-49 demos. Cavemen/Carpoolers are one of the very few ABC shows (outside College Football) to do well in the young male sales demographic. If these comedies stabilize around the third place, 2.5-2.8 demo levels of last night, they will ride out the rest of their 13-episode orders and stand a reasonable chance for a back nine order as well.
