Respectable debut for Don't Forget the Lyrics, but one karaoke competition is more than enough.

CBS still churns out the numbers despite not producing new content. CBS has to making the bigger net profits this summer.

I was just wondering if AGT's numbers have been going down in recent weeks.

Doesn't seem to be as dominate as it once was.

With both "Singing Bee" and "Don't Forget The Lyrics" having had huge premieres, each show could actually use the other in promotion.

As in "If you like 'Singing Bee', you'll love 'Don't Forget The Lyrics'!", or, "If you like 'Don't Forget The Lyrics', you'll love 'Singing Bee'!".

I think DFTL was a much better show than Singing Bee. It's much easier to play along with DFTL, there is much more drama, and I like that they get a chance to fix the lyrics after they sing.

I'm not a big fan of the new wave of game shows, but I might make DFTL a guilty pleasure. Last night I actually wished DFTL was an hour long. I'll likely never watch Singing Bee again.

Of course, if history is any indication, the show I like will flop and the show I don't like will be the next big hit.
