It's better to keep them in the timeslot than to try and get slightly better ratings. An established show's repeats should be kept in the same timeslot as the show is in for the regular season. It hurts a show to be moving around the schedule. Even if it's just for repeats.

I agree too. Its why I think the Eli Stone repeats should be airing on Tuesdays at 10 this summer and the Wednesday lineup should be repeating too. Ratings would be low but they would be ready there for fall. Betty and Greys just as well have taken the summer off. The two hours of Primetime a week could've led off Thursdays into Hopkins or had one air on Thursday and another air on Sunday instead of Housewives repeats. Fridays could've been Wife Swap, Supernanny, and 20/20. Duel and Dance Machine should've just aired online (like Dance Machine ended up doing anyway).
