"NATIONAL BINGO NIGHT" TO PREMIERE FRIDAY, MAY 18,
ON THE ABC TELEVISION NETWORK
For the First Time on Network Television, Series Gives Viewers the
Ultimate Real-Time Interactive Experience to Win Tens of Thousands of Prizes
"National Bingo Night" is a high-energy, truly interactive game of luck based on the popular American pastime. Three games of fast-paced, high stakes Bingo are played each night, with the viewing public invited to join in. In each game a contestant in the studio will try his/her luck against the studio audience for a chance to win cash, trips and prizes. "Episode 101" of the new series premieres FRIDAY, MAY 18 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on The ABC Television Network, following the season finale of "America's Funniest Home Videos."

For each of the three games, viewers can print their own Bingo cards from ABC.com and mark off the numbers as they're called. They'll not only experience the excitement of watching the on-screen competition but can concurrently enjoy the pure fun of playing Bingo at home, free of charge, for an opportunity to cash in. Those who get Bingo can log on to redeem tens of thousands of prizes. In the studio, a contestant will race against the studio audience as balls numbered from 1-75 are randomly selected from a giant, two-and-a-half story sphere set in a high tech "Bingo Plex" arena. The audience will track the numbers on their own Bingo cards for a chance to win cash and send the contestant home empty-handed.

The series is hosted by "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" design team contributor Ed Sanders. Sunil Narkar, as Commissioner Sunil, is co-host.

"National Bingo Night" is executive-produced and created by Andrew Glassman ("Three Wishes," "Average Joe") for Glassman Media. It's broadcast with Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning. A TV parental guideline will be posted closer to airdate.

There should be a pifeedbackland game for how many episodes ABC airs before they return this gamer back to the Disney vault to sit beside the Six Degrees negatives.

I say, under the B, two.

For the first time in network television, millions of viewers can play at home for a chance to win thousands of prizes with ABC's newest alternative series, "National Bingo Night," premiering FRIDAY, MAY 18 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET). ABC Television Network has partnered with Kmart and several other companies to provide prizes awarded to winning contestants, studio audience members and at-home viewers in this game of luck based on the popular American pastime.

In each episode, three high action Bingo games are played in-studio, with the viewing public invited to play along for a chance to win. Online winners are not competing against the clock; anyone who gets a Bingo from the numbers called for each Red, White or Blue game on their corresponding cards can log on to ABC.com after the broadcast and enter the serial number from the card to verify their winning card. Viewers at home who get five numbers up and down, across or diagonally will be eligible for the grand prize drawing for the corresponding game.
