This certainly isn’t good news for fans of “October Road” (which has already completed its second season) and “Men in Trees” (airing Wednesdays at 10:00 p.m. ET).

It appears as though Disney-owned cable network Lifetime has passed on picking up either of these series should ABC decide to cancel them. Other than possibly airing on ABC Family (which would probably prefer “Road” to “Trees”), what other cable net would possibly want these cast-offs?

ABC will likely bring “Road” to a (dead) end, and if “Trees” is not cut down, fans can reportedly thank star Anne Heche, since “Road” lacks a so-called big name star.

I watch both shows and Men in Trees is 10 times better than October Road.

Disney/ABC sucks and always has.

They take good shows with great acting and move them around so much no one knows where they are. Unless a show is cheap or gets amazing ratings- they don't care. Quality is not an issue.

I've been burned many times with great shows that are only on 1-3 seasons. It breaks my heart.

Don't get involved with ABC anymore- she doesn't care about your feelings Smiler

I can understand ABC trying to move October Road as ABC Studios produces, but MIT is produced by Warner Brothers. I would think they would have a say as to who the show could be moved to if at all.
