If one considers that, technically at least, Big Shots is still in play, then Mr. Thomas could indeed become the prime producer at ABC if his two pilots get picked up and Big Shots ekes out even an eight-episode order.

When he has a few hits series on the roll, I do hope he shows the executives at ABC his five-year bible for "Veronica Mars: FBI".

ABC has a distinguished history with noirish series (Naked City, The Untouchables, Twin Peaks, Harry O, Spenser: For Hire) that is unparalleled in network television.

ABC could fashion "Veronica Mars: FBI" into the defining neo-noir series for the new Millenium.

The only reason ABC was willing to revamp Cupid was because 1) they felt it was produced to ahead of it's time and 2) the original series aired on it's network. With that said, I doubt they'd be willing to pick up Veronica Mars owned by Warner Bros along with the report of the series hardly ever breaking the 3mil mark in its entirety. Critical Acclaim can only get a series so far if it can't pull in the dough for the Net [ie Arrested Development]

At least the new one is a multi-camera comedy.

Wow Thomas's third remake for the coming season, what a hack! He peaked at Drive Me Crazy. This guy is 0 for 10 as far as hits, he must of signed a deal with the devil
