Below is my prediction for the ABC's Fall 08 line-up. I did read somewhere that ABC won't have too many new series premiere in the fall, so this schedule reflects that.
MONDAY 8pm Dancing with the Stars 930pm Samantha Who? 10pm Dirty, Sexy, Money (new night)
* New Comedy "Bad Mother's Handbook" to be paired with SW after DWTS ends.
TUESDAY 8pm According to Jim 830pm Scrubs (new night and time) 9pm Dancing with the Stars: Results 10pm Women's Murder Club
WEDNESDAY 8pm Pushing Daisies 9pm Private Practice 10pm LIFE ON MARS (new series)
MONDAY - great, I think they'll tick with DWTS+SW 8pm Dancing with the Stars 930pm Samantha Who? 10pm Dirty, Sexy, Money (new night)
* New Comedy "Bad Mother's Handbook" to be paired with SW after DWTS ends.
TUESDAY 8pm Scrubs (new night and time) 830pm According to Jim 9pm Dancing with the Stars: Results 10pm Women's Murder Club
WEDNESDAY 8pm Pushing Daisies 9pm Private Practice 10pm [COLOR:RED]Brothers and Sisters (new night) ABC can use DH to build up a new show, and with BS here the night will be even stronger
FRIDAY - Great! Supernany and WifeSwap don't deserve what they got now. 8pm Supernany (new night and time) 9pm Boston Legal (new night and time) 10pm 20/20
SATURDAY 8pm College Football
SUNDAY 7pm AFHV 8pm Extreme Makeover: Home Edition 9pm Desperate Housewives 10pm Life on Mars (new show)
In midseason I'll put Lost at Tuesday 9, Oprah's big give at Monday 8. A new sitcom to replace Accoring to Jim and WifeSwap or The Barchelor to replace Supernanny
Sunday 8pm Extreme Makeover: Home Edition 9pm Desperate Housewives 10pm GOOD BEHAVIOR - NEW SERIES
The night should stay as it is, only "Brothers & Sisters" should be replaced to use "DH" to establish a new show. GOOD BEHAVIOR definitely sounds like a good fit after "DH".
Monday 8pm Dancing With The Stars / CUPID - NEW SERIES* 10pm Brothers & Sisters
Like someone else said: "Brothers & Sisters" can only improve on where other relationship dramas failed. At the same time it could get a boost by airing after "Dancing With The Stars" or at least keep most of its Sunday Night audience.
Tuesday 8pm Samantha Who? 8.30pm Scrubs / BAD MOTHER'S HANDBOOK - NEW SERIES* 9pm Dancing With The Stars 10pm Dirty Sexy Money
"Samantha Who?" had a good start on Monday Nights after "Dancing With The Stars", but has lost some steam since it returned from its hiatus, but it's still ABC's most successful comedy and they should chose it to anchor the night so that NBC's low-rated "SCRUBS" gets a boost from being between their most succesful comedy and their most succesful overall programme. "Dirty Sexy Money" should be moved to Tuesdays, since "Dancing With The Stars" might be a better lead-in than PP.
Wednesday 8pm Pushing Daisies / CAPTAIN COOKS EXTRAORDINARY ATLAS - NEW SERIES* 9pm Private Practice 10pm Boston Legal
With all the other changes, I suggested, some things should stay the same. That's why "Pushing Daisies" and "Private Practice" should keep their current timeslots. "Boston Legal" should move there to strengthen their new Wednesday Night line-up by adding an already established show to the mix.
Thursday 8pm Ugly Betty 9pm Grey's Anatomy 10pm Eli Stone / Lost*
Again, with all the other changes, something has to stay right there where it is. ELI STONE wasn't really successful, but as long as it aired after all new episodes of LOST, it mostly remained stable. So, why not try and order 13 episodes and place them behind "Grey's". I think it would be a good fit and if it doesn't work, they can replace it with either LOST or a new show. "Lost" should return in the same timeslot next year. So far ABC was quite lucky that their constant movement of the show didn't hurt it, but that doesn't mean, it can't get hurt by being being moved to yet another night
"Women's Murder Club" was the only successful scripted show on Friday Nights on ABC in years, so keep it there instead of putting something else there and killing it. All their reality fare doesn't do particularly on other nights and I guess, wouldn't be harmed by airing on Friday Nights.
Midseason: Captain Cook's Extraordinary Atlas, Lost, Castle, Selection 8, Bad Mother's Handbook, Cupid, Untitled Kohan/Mutchick comedy, According To Jim
Cancelled: Cashmere Mafia, Men In Trees, Cavemen, Carpoolers, Big Shots, October Road, Miss/Guided
Probably too much changes for their schedule, but whatever.

Women's Murder Club isn't really a 8/7c show. Plus, NO FLIPPIN' WAY would ABC drop 20/20.
Maybe anther police show like Life on Mars or a crime show from the criminal's perspective like Good Behavior. So....
Friday 8pm New Show (LIFE ON MARS or GOOD BEHAVIOR) 9pm Women's Murder Club 10pm 20/20
THURSDAY 8pm CUPID (new series) 9pm Grey's Anatomy 10pm Ugly Betty (new time)
Since Ugly Betty seems to be fading (down 30% from last year), why not flip the time? We already know it pairs well with Grey's. Maybe the 8pm hour will work better for a new show.
Up until a few weeks ago, I thought UB was locked for the Thursday 8 PM slot. Looking at the recent numbers, something else should go there instead and UB should move to a new night with hopefully reduced competition.

Ugly Betty is an 8PM show, maybe swap it with another established 8pm show.
WEDNESDAY 8pm Pushing Daisies 9pm Private Practice 10pm Brothers & Sisters (NEW NIGHT) Pretty similar to last fall
THURSDAY 8pm Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (NEW NIGHT) 9pm Grey's Anatomy 10pm CUPID (NEW SERIES) Strong lead for Grey's and a new dramedy afterwards because dramas don't seem to work.
SUNDAY 7pm AFHV 8pm Ugly Betty (NEW NIGHT) 9pm Desperate Housewives 10pm Dirty Sexy Money (NEW NIGHT) Sunday more or less revamped.

That can actually work for both Betty and Dirty sexy money!
