Monday: 7:00 - Pushing Daisies 9:00 - Dancing with the Stars / Dance War 9:00 - Dancing with the Stars / Literary Superstar 10:30 - Literary Superstar / Untitled Kohan - Mutchnick Project ABC gets pre-tune in on Tuesdays with their Dancing results, why not try to duplicate that on Mondays?
Tuesday: 8:00 - Samantha Who? 8:30 - Miss Guided 9:00 - Dancing with the Stars - The Results / Dirty Sexy Money 10:00 - Brothers & Sisters Same Tuesday formula, just different players. Boston doesn't benefit much from the Dancing lead-in. So another show should be given the chance. DSM is on there because ABC has already renewed it.
Wednesday: 8:00 - Boundaries 9:00 - Private Practice 10:00 - Life on Mars I think anchoring the night around Private Practice is smart, so let's surround it with shows we think will succeed.
Thursday: 8:00 - Ugly Betty 9:00 - Grey's Anatomy / Lost 10:00 - Section 8 Maybe Section 8 will work. It's mild sci-fi and should get a boost from Lost.
Friday: 8:00 - Cedric the Entertainer 8:30 - Damon Wayans 9:00 - Boston Legal 10:00 - 20/20 Boston, I think would benefit from an earlier time, even if it is Friday, and some male oriented comedies can benefit.
Saturday: Disney movies, sports, encores, whatever.
Sunday: 7:00 - America's Funniest Home Videos 8:00 - Extreme Makeover: Home Edition 9:00 - Desperate Housewives 10:00 - Women's Murder Club A new night should help the Club get those pesky younger viewers.

Sitcoms that late a night? I don't know if that'll fly. There might be a reason nobody else shows sitcoms that late.

I don't know that LOST will ever serve as a good lead-in. Viewers seem enamored with it to the extent that they want to think about LOST after they watch it and not really watch anything else.

I agree to a degree with you tvfan300 -- but I also agree with Jonathan's specific recommendation: Section 8 can break that trend, especially if they case the right folks in it.

Please. People said the same thing about the Nine. That flopped miserably. Invasion was another show that was good but failed. Lost fans are way too excited about going online and chatting afterwards. The best show to ever air after Lost was Alias.

Well, we can agree on that -- if there's one show I was more into than I am into LOST it was Alias. Too bad they killed off Michael Vartan's character Vaughn, which in turn killed the show...

I believe Jennifer Garner insisted he be killed off due to some rocky personal life issues. The fans however, had the final say. The final season of that on Thursdays were a complete disaster and then it moved to Wed. at 8 where it did even worse to finish off the year.

Holly, I'm posting your remarks here as well: quote: Originally posted by Holly: Interesting if true... quote: When ABC launches its fall season in September, don't look for too many new faces. With robust runs of sophomore series Pushing Daisies, Private Practice and Dirty Sexy Money in the pipeline, sources tell the Reporter that any new Alphabet dramas — and the network has as many as seven in the works, including David E. Kelley's Life on Mars adaptation — won't be unspooled until midseason.

News confirmed with a bit more info from theHollywoodReporter: ABC is mulling a dramatic pause for fall.
The network, which hasn't picked up a single drama pilot after the end of the writers strike, still plans to order as many as seven hourlong pilots this season but might not be in a rush because all of them would be targeted for a midseason, not for fall, sources said.
ABC, which had the strongest slate of new series last fall, still will be busy on the drama side in September, when it will relaunch recently renewed freshmen "Pushing Daisies," "Private Practice" and "Dirty Sexy Money," whose first-year runs were cut short by the strike. ABC has one completed drama pilot, David E. Kelley's "Life on Mars."
The network, which declined comment, also handed out a six-episode order to the sci-fi drama "Section 8" shortly before the strike. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/content_display/tel...9b3b1dc17da3bcc624b3quote: Originally posted by Chimera: Holly, I'm posting your remarks here as well: quote: Originally posted by Holly: Interesting if true... quote: When ABC launches its fall season in September, don't look for too many new faces.
