What a vast improvement over previous weeks, when only LOST and EM:HE cracked the 10 million viewer mark, and Supernanny would sometimes join them over a 3.0 in the demo. Now they added Big Give, Newlyweds, the Primetime special has a good chance of breaking 3.0, the 20/20 special will continue what Raisin in the Sun did on Monday, and in a week and a half you add two days of DWTS to the mix, plus The Bachelor, and a month after than DH, Grey's, UB, and B&S return. It's shaping up to be a strong Spring sprint to the May sweeps for ABC.
Now, those shows at the bottom, none of them really need to be there -- ABC doesn't have to air any of them, and we have seen that specials and newsmags pull in better ratings. I hope ABC makes a course correction on Fridays as well, since they're really bringing the network averages down.
