Could it be that the episodes of Cavemen are starting to arrive and ABC is looking for a backup?

Ridiculous. That's the only word I can use to describe this. My question now is what will they pair it with?

It probably will be paired with Carpoolers after Caveman is canceled.

Isn't this when people should start heaping praise on ABC for giving According to Jim a 'proper ending'? I'm guessing that it won't be paired with anything. 18 episodes is 9 weeks of back-to-back airings in the Caveman/Carpoolers timeslot. Aimed at February sweeps maybe?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Why won't ABC just let this show die?

That's what I'm thinking x and once again it will be a very low rated hour for ABC once the death star comes around. A better option would've been to premiere Oprah's new show right away and simply cancel the three comedies.

Clearly, Jim Belushi has pictures of somebody in a compromising position.

Is the chance of a Writer's Strike coming making ABC do something as bad as this?

I think fx's explanation is more likely. Wink

Why 18? Why not just spend an extra couple of million and give it 22? Or save a couple of million $ by giving it 13?
