thanks travis. do you think Barnes or Spell Bound still have a chance to make it on the fall schedule?
Also what comedies do you think will make it? I'm thinking Eight Days a week and Dash 4 Cash/Aliens in America.
CW is bullish on Gossip Girls, a new series from O.C. creator Josh Schwartz that's based on a series of teen novels, and on Reaper, about a bounty hunter (Bret Harrison) who reclaims souls that escaped from hell. The network also has an untitled family drama set in South Africa from producer Michael Rauch that is high on the list of contenders.
With regards to Reaper, I am willing to bet money that Kevin Smith made the pilot brilliant. I am worried past the pilot if the showrunner/director would be able to keep it on that level.
I hope Nurses catches on a bit more. I am liking it more and more.

More on pilot buzz from tvguide, but its somewhat conflicting with Travis' reports.
that didn't seem to conflict. a lot of what they mentioned were comedies, but everything about the dramas matches the pilot buzz i heard and posted (remember, I didn't have any NBC info)...

NBC The network with the most needs. Execs have screened everything.
HOT 1. BIONIC WOMAN (NBC Uni TV): Serious about. 2. CHUCK (WBTV) Serious about. 3. JOURNEYMEN (20th) 4. LIPSTICK JUNGLE (NBC Uni TV): Slam dunk. 5. UNTITLED DAVID SHORE SHOW (NBC Uni TV)
WARM 1. FORT PIT (Apostle/Sony) 2. M.O.N.Y. (NBC Uni TV)
Hearing the NBC is giving the go-ahead to hire writers on BIONIC WOMAN and LIFE (guess that refutes whoever was originally spread the bad buzz about BW being "a mess") and FOX is giving the go-ahead on K-VILLE.

According to the Star of Reaper, he said it was a stupid horror show. With Kevin Smith I have a feeling it's going to be a slap stick comedy type show. "Jay and Silent Bob" anyone.
I don't see it doing well against Grey's and CSI...
They do need to move Supernatural to a new night, get it out of the way so it can grow in viewers.
