8:00 pm My Name is Earl (NBC) -> This appears to be a delayed Christmas episode, but I'm tuning it because at last Earl is out of prison and all the On the Rocks type comedy that ensued there.

8:30 pm 30 Rock (NBC) -> My favourite NBC comedy, and thankfully still offering up a few fresh episodes.

9:30 pm The Clock (TCM) -> This is one of Miss Garlands more obscure films, a romance that takes place in New York City, and because it stars Miss Garland, a national treasure.

LATER:

8:00 pm Ugly Betty (ABC) -> Too bad the strike will cut this season short, as it has been a cut above the back nine episodes from last season.

9:00 pm Grey's Anatomy (ABC) -> I wonder how they'll end the season to keep people talking about it all the way unitl next September.

10:02 pm Big Shots (ABC) -> Glad to see this show back in the Thursday at 10 pm slot where it has shown ABC's best numbers all season (aside from Miss Barbara Walters).

I hope people will just let the stuff they DVR'ed at 9pm sit for awhile and catch ER instead. Only a few new episodes left and last week's was certainly excellent. ER is all that is left of 'must see TV'.
