Now why in the world would two networks be airing the exact same thing? Seems stupid to me.

It be interesting to see who comes out on top... My guess which ever channel people come to first, NBC or CBS, and they'll stick with it

Well, do they have any better options?

Dumont Prime Choices This Weekend

SATURDAY:

LIVE:
Saturdays on MyNetworkTV...My Night for Movies
8:00 pm Big (MNT) -> After pulling a hefty 2 million plus audience last week, MyNetworkTV is encoring this theatrical starring Mr. Tom Hanks tonight. Interesting to note that MyNetworkTV had first dibs to carry the IFL Battleground finals tonight, but took a pass because its number one affiliate WWOR in New York was committed to carrying the NFL Network game in the Big Apple, so it skedded a film instead (the IFL final is now slated for HDnet).

SUNDAY:

LIVE:

7:00 pm The Sound of Music (R)(ABC) -> One of the best family films of all time, this annual bouquet from the Alphabet stars the resplendent Miss Julie Andrews at her absolute finest. This film garnered a 33.6HH/49% in its first ABC airing during the 1976 February Sweep, and it has been an Alphabet and Peacock mainstay ever since.

I think CBS will beat NBC only because they always do, but NBC really does have better sports coverage, IMO.

Well its the NFL Network guys doing coverage for all the nets so it will be the same everywhere and with Bryant Gumbel on play by play, it won't be pretty.

I'll actually be working tonight running the board for the Iowa Hawkeyes game but I'll have Pat/Giants on mute and watching at the same time.

Sunday:
Amazing Race
Perhaps Family Guy, American Dad, or Shark encores.

I hadn't realized that Mr. Gumbel was still doing sports broadcasting. I thought he was just doing documentaries for The CW now.

Iowa must be abuzz with activity given the caucuses next week. Do you have any 'ear to the ground' predictions on who will win their respective caucuses, mushu?
