I'm going to stick with watching my two favorites from seven to nine, as these are shows I've watched for as long as I can remember, and that makes it seem like forever. At nine, I'll try a new show since nothing else interests me. At nine-thirty, I'll tune into "Unhitched" solely because of Craig Bierko, who was a great actor when he was in "Boston Legal."
7:00PM - "America's Funniest Home Videos" (ABC) 8:00PM - "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" (ABC) 9:00PM - "Oprah's Big Give" (ABC) 9:30PM - "Unhitched" (FOX)

As I journey on vacation the following will be DVR'd.
Saturday
Nothing
Sunday
Big Brother I'll be reading the summary, but please feel free to watch while I'm away and fill me in on all the going-ons.
Oprah's Big Give Who loves Oprah? She's a Chicago treasure and time for her to go prime-time! Contestants vie to give money and other resources away in this series, which tests their creativity (how they can get the most bang for their bucks) and dedication (how much they're perceived as wanting to help others). One contestant is eliminated at the end of each episode. The series is based on an installment of Oprah's daytime show in which she gave audience members $1000 apiece and instructed them to use the money for charitable endeavors.

Fox: 7:00pm NASCAR Hoping for less rain. CW : 8:30pm Aliens in America Yeah! A new epiosde of AiA! CBS: 10:00pm Dexter Forgot about this last week, but will give it another try Sunday.
8:00 pm Secondhand Lions (CBS) -> CBS wins my Saturday night taste for the theatrical, which I will watch tomorrow over breakfast.
11:30 pm Saturday Night Live (NBC) -> I enjoyed last weeks return with Miss Tina Fey...hopefully the writers will be able to make it two in a row.
MY SUNDAY PRIME:
LIVE:
7:00 pm 60 Minutes (CBS) -> Now that CW Now is gone, I'm going back to 60 Minutes.
8:00 pm Everybody Hates Chris / Aliens in America (The CW) -> The CW comedies return tonight with fresh episodes. I'm really liking what I'm seeing on Aliens in America, and it's developed into a good companion for Chris.
9:00 pm Oprah's Big Give (ABC) -> I'll give this show by Miss Oprah Winfrey a try, but it already seems a little too goody-two-shoes for me.
10:00 pm Here Come the Newlyweds (ABC) -> Again, I'll give it a sample, but I doubt I'll watch more than the preem
LATER:
8:00 pm Simpsons / King of the Hill / Family Guy / Unhitched (FOX) -> I'm taping the animation block (2/3rds fresh) which launches FOX's latest young adult comedy that looks very Happy Hourish at the surface (and not that Happy Hour was all that terrible). The gold standard against I will measure Unhitched is The Loop, which was FOX's golden dubloon tossed into the fountain.
11:00 pm Breaking Bad (AMC) -> AMC is the new HBO, and deserves kudos to go with the armloads of Emmy's and Peabody's upcoming for their outstanding dramatic series developed, including this quixotic achievement.
