Dumont Prime Choices

Tonight is one of those nights where I'll be using the DVR and the VCR to record all the good programming choices.

MY MONDAY PRIME:

LIVE:

8:00 pm How I Met Your Mother (CBS) -> One of the few comedies that I can watch again and again and still laugh like it was the first time.

8:30 pm Welcome to the Captain (CBS) -> This comedy is surprisingly engaging, and Miss Welch is superb.

Checking Into Paradise Every Monday on MyNetworkTV
9:00 pm – Paradise Hotel 2 (MyNetworkTV) -> Tonight the previews promise that a new and nubile young woman will be checking in.

10:00 pm – Medium (NBC) -> Last week's episode was so good. Every episode this season has been so good. Every episode in this entire series has been so good.

LATER:

8:00 pm 20/20: The Royals (ABC) -> This special takes a peek behind all that posturing of the Royal Family.

9:30 pm - Thou Shalt Not: Sex, Sin and Censorship in Pre-Code Hollywood (TCM) -> Tune into this documentary which looks at the late 20s / early 30s period of film-making before they brought in that dreaded production code.

10:00 pm - October Road (ABC) -> Only three more episodes left in this season...it's time for this series to knock one out of the park and get a demo score over 3.0.

I'm watching something from every network, and sadly one of my favorite comedies, "Notes From The Underbelly," appears to be over. I'll watch "20/20" to kill time because it always interests mea nd then switch to CBS for their newest comedy, which I only watch for JoAnna Garcia from "Reba." Then there's another comedy, and a very good drama - "Medium."

8:00PM - "20/20" (ABC)
8:30PM - "Welcome To The Captain" (CBS)
9:30PM - "The New Adventures Of Old Christine" (CBS)
10:00PM - "Medium" (NBC)

XWISEGUYX's Picks 2 Click 4 Monday

As I continue my vacation, the following are DVR'd....

CABLE ALERT! (This show is so good it gets top billing!)

Torchwood Also seen on BBC America on Sats, I preferred the HD Unedited Commercial Free Version! Tonight: Rhys finds out the truth about Torchwood and becomes involved in the investigation of a suspicious alien meat supply.

Recommended Network Offerings:

Paradise Hotel 2: Ratings not as good as we hoped, but it's still promises to be an exciting season. This is the season's second guiltiest pleasure after Big Brother! Who's the new gal? Also Tonight: When a new woman arrives. she immediately has the attention of all of the men and the other women vying for her friendship.

The New Adventures of Old Christine If you gave up on this show, I strongly recommend giving it another shot. The writing on this has improved A LOT and the comedic timing is flawless! This show has found its groove. Tonight! Christine struggles to get over her breakup with Mr. Harris; Matthew goes to therapy to discuss intimacy issues and learns he is too dependent on his sister.

Medium Tonight! Devalos (Miguel Sandoval, who also directed the episode) tries to retake the DA's office, but his efforts could be derailed when Allison has visions of his chief political supporter (24's Gregory Itzin) mired in a shocking conspiracy. Meanwhile, daughter Bridgette's dreamscapes revolve around an unrelenting creditor.
