Live:
maybe Law & Order: CI (R) (NBC) - The most memorable of the USA mini-season, featuring Goren going undercover into a mental facility, may be worth a rewatch.
10 - Law & Order (NBC) - Mad Men's January Jones guest stars.

DVR:
8:30 - The Big Bang Theory (R) (CBS) - This Halloween ep is not one of the strongest ones IMO, but it is the only one missing from my DVR collection.

Justin, your sheets may not have been updated, but the One Tree Hill ep at 9 pm is an encore, and the Masters of Illusion special on MNT is an original.

----

Dumont Prime Choices

MY WEDNESDAY PRIME:

LIVE:

8:00 pm America's Ballroom Challenge (PBS) -> Those of you who watch Dancing with the Stars and Dance Wars might be interested in this PBS series which approaches the subject of dance from a more professional point of view. Tonights episode is titled American Rhythm, and it will feature the cha-cha, the rumba, the swing, the bolero and the mambo.

The Impossible Made Possible, Wednesdays on MyNetworkTV
9:00 pm - Masters of Illusion: Impossible Magic -> MyNetworkTV continues its mini-series of five brand-new specials looking at the world of the possible in the seemingly impossible feats of magicians, illusionists and escapists. Tonights special is hosted by Sir Roger Moore (yes, Bond, James Bond), and the previews promise much of the same sort of magic that we saw in "The World Magic Awards" and all those "Breaking the Magciian Code" specials.

10:00 pm Cashmere Mafia (ABC) -> This series is quite a pleasurable pasttime for the 10 pm hour. I look forward to comparing it to the preem this week of Lipstick Jungle on NBC Thursday.

LATER:

8:00 pm "31 Days of Oscar: Vertigo / Rear Window" (TCM) -> Tonight its a double serving of Mr. Hitchcock, and two of his Oscar-nommed features, both classic masterpieces, though I am more partial to Vertigo. These two I shall be burning to a personal DVD for a place on the shelf!

XWISEGUYX's Wed Picks 2 Click!

It looks to be a rare all Network TV Night!

Law & Order Criminal Intent : It's an episode I've heard great things about with Vincent D'Onofrio doing what he does best - playing mentally unstable. Tonight: Goren's inmate nephew believes he witnessed a murder, so Goren goes undercover in the mental ward to investigate the possible crime.

Law & Order This show has found a new life with the recent cast changes. Particularly with the addition of Jeremy Sisto! Tonight: Evidence in a hit and run leads to a real-estate scam artist who has all but vanished. With the help of a title-agency employee (January Jones), the detectives go undercover in an attempt to lure the conman out of hiding. But the sting goes bad, prompting the department to shift its focus to a surprising suspect.

Moment of Truth People seem to focus on the negative with this lie detector show (perhaps due to the first contestant, who didn't have a lot of redeeming qualities). But the second contestant proved that one can be flawed and still show a lot of great attributes as well. We both found it to be a wonderful heartwarming moment with his interaction with his son. So far, the beauty queen looks to be interesting as well. The show has already gotten a 13 episode renewal! Yeah!!!

Thanks for the tip on CI.

L&O - I'm assuming this will a smoke-free episode for Jones.

I was not really familiar with her prior to Mad Men and will be interested to see her in a more contemporary setting. I have a hard time picturing her outside of that role.

Revision: all the above is now DVR, and Live is:
9 - Duke/Carolina (ESPN) - Somehow forgot about this game last night, but I cannot miss the latest chapter in the greatest rivalry in sports!

No network TV (Idol auditions are the most boring part of the year, btw - enough already)

Basketball night!

ESPN:
UConn v. Syracuse
Duke v. UNC
