Dumont Prime Choices: FridayLIVE:8:00 pm The Singing Bee (NBC) -> Tonights episode is tv themes, a category in which I excel. 9:30 pm Rat Pack: A Conference of Cool (PBS) -> 1950s culture is profiled, and that means there'll be plenty of crooning from the likes of Messrs Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin, Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop. Just the other night, I watched an old "Dean Martin Celebrity Roast" (where the roastee was Miss Lucille Ball) and it left me wistful for Mr. Martin's wonderful variety series. LATER:Friday on MyNetworkTV...My Night for Movies 8:00 pm – Crossing Paths (MNT) -> This 1998 feature receiving its broadcast network premiere on MyNetworkTV stars Mr. Neal McDonough, that fellow with the intense eyes from the NBC drama Medical Investigations a few seasons back. And it also stars Mr. Antonio Sabato Jr., who hasn't really been up to much on tv lately. The original title of this 1998 film was Circles, and it played a few minor festivals before being re-titled as "Crossing Paths" and being consigned to the video shops. Until MyNetworkTV discovered it for their "indie" Friday movie series. 10:00 pm - 20/20 (ABC) -> "A Year Caught on Tape: 2007" in which the most popular Internet videos of 2007 will be played. I caught the i-report segment on CNN the other night, and it is astounding how many breaking stories are now visually captured / reported by citizens with cells...no wonder the network news divisions keep closing down foreign and domestic reporting bureaus!

I don't usually like Singing Bee, but the TV Themes category sounds interesting and fun. Woman's Murder Club Cable Alert!Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares (BBC)

I think I will have to second that choice. I have about 20-25 hours of recorded programming to eventually watch.
