Dumont Prime ChoicesLots of fresh episodes up on offer tonight against the expected vortex of viewers swirling over to FOX and yet another edition of the American Idol behemoth.
MY TUESDAY PRIME: LIVE:Tuesdays are Crimetime in Primetime on MyNetworkTV
8:00 pm –
Street|Patrol -> This verite crimetime reality series on MyNetworkTV got pretty decent ratings last week, but I missed it to watch One Tree Hill instead. Tonight, I'm going to watch the two fresh episodes on from 9-10 pm.
9:00 pm -
One Tree Hill -> Kudos to The CW and the producer-writers of this series for a very effective re-boot of what was becoming a rather predictable series.
10:00 pm
Boston Legal (ABC) -> I cannot fathom why ABC scheduled a repeat of the lowly-rated Carpoolers as a lead-in to Boston Legal. This is practically inviting viewers to switch over to other networks. Hopefully, the steady loyal Boston Legal audience will give their show a good 10 pm tune-in.
LATER:8:00 pm
NCIS (CBS) -> I hope that CBS stock-piled fresh episodes of this series, which is the most reliable, enjoyable and well-rated alternative to American Idol.
8:00 pm
The Landlord (TCM) -> A gem of a first feature directed by Mr. Hal Ashby, who went on to direct such exceptional 70s films as Harold & Maude, The Last Detail, Shampoo, Bound for Glory, Coming Home and Being There.
